Nice signing but in all honesty there's not going to be much of an opportunity to shine as long as Ellington is healthy and our three WR's are still on the field.

We don't need him to shine, just needs to contribute when his number gets called.

It's a long season. 1st one for him as a starter. You get banged up after awhile back there. Good depth signing since were going to lose Dwyer.

Too funny the excitement just because he was a Sun Devil

No, it's his ability. Him being a Sun Devil is just a plus.

He averaged a TD less then once every 10 times he touches the ball.

Scored 39 TD's in 24 games.

Was 3rd in the nation all purpose yards per game in 2013.

Is a dual threat back, running and receiving.

Great first cut...and 2nd and 3rd. Great vision. Sets up blocks.

Hits the hole hard but is elusive. So he can be the best of both worlds.

We'll see how that translates to the NFL, but he checks off most things. Undrafted probably because of his late season injury and the fact that few teams draft rb's anymore.

Think about it. This isn't the type of guy who is supposed to go undrafted and you pick up in-season off someone's practice squad. Chargers made a mistake by not promoting him while they had a shot.

Great complement to Ellington. Great for a 1-2 punch.

Now let's see it happen, it's just potential now, but the potential is there.

Right on! Ive been saying the Cards should pull Grice off SD practice squad. Great Sun Devil and a down hill hard charger - now hopefully a Cardinal. This guy is a work horse who will drag tacklers additional 4 - 5 yrds. Great move Keim. Now get us a linebacker.

Excellent move by the Cardinals. Grice is an excellent receiver out of the backfield as well as a decent runner. The Cards front office didn't do this just to make ASU fans happy.

Now that's what I've been talking about. A very nice pick up.

I thought coming out he was a bit plodding for his size

In the last pre season game --- it seemed he had a bit of a burst.

Love this move

Yesterday I thought there was no shot. Matthews out for a month or so and Woodhead out for year.

Keim made this move just in the nick of time.

(or maybe SD told him he wasn't going to be promoted and bolted)[pun intended]

This guy is going to show us something. Can run, can catch, and hits the hole hard.

Here's his junior year highlights (which was his first)

One of his draft profiles

If you're a practice squad player making $65k/year and any one of the other 31 teams calls to put you on their active roster, you jump on the opportunity.

I'm sure part of the motivation of this move is due to fan familiarity, but Grice is a decent back and there's very little risk in this signing.

I'm just glad Keim never stops working. As he said he likes to churn the bottom of the roster.

Good signing because of the low risk and has a plus upside. If he doesn't work, then we aren't out much

The hardest thing about the transition from college to pros for a running back isn't running the ball, that's what they do. It's pass blocking against NFL pass rushers.

Grice happens to be a very good pass blocker, and should transition very well.
