What kicker would you want the Cards to sign?

Hauschka's career FG% is 87%

Catanzaro's is 86.7%

Unless Vinateri, Tucker, Gotskowski, et al become available, why would you make a change?
Heck, even Goskowski has been missing extra points this season...

If they had a better K they presumably would have signed him when we were working people out. He's 8-11 that includes Wagner's block and the bad snap against NE. I think he choked and cost us a win and that sucks but the snapper and holder issues earlier in the season mean that hes' having to adjust mid season with a new player at both spots. if he misses another chip shot then yeah I sign someone else.

Keep Catanzaro. Stupid coaching had a ton to do with the mess tonight.

I agree,,,, I wouldn't blame Catman. He's only as good as the blocking on those kicks, and Wagner (Seahawk) was the 12th man on our side of the field during the kicks. Poor offensive coaching calls at times, added to this Skunkfeast of a game. Johnson > 41 touches. Overworked horse. Give him a blow once in awhile.....Ellington is nearly as good.

Cut him??? No, but until he kicks a game winner, he will be known to me as CANT-MAN-ZERO.

Where were you on Nov. 23, 2015?

Arizona Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro hit his first game-winning field goal on Sunday night to give the Cards a 34-31 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on national TV

Catman is making $600K .... great kickers make $1M and more. Cat will make it to the $1M plateau ,,, but probably not with BA or the Cards.

OK until he kicks another game winner, I can't go backwards. I have not missed a down of Cardinals football since 1988, not preseason or regular season. I am either at the game or I am watching it on TV.

Cheesehead Card ,,, Thanks for the disclaimer, lol. I can't say I haven't missed a down,,,,,sometimes I have to take a pee.

I was watching the Cards when in St. Louis (fans wearing sacks over their heads),, and in Chicago, when Ollie Matson (RIP) was the running back... You've got some catching up to do, but I'm with you!

Not really a cheesehead either, born and raised in Phoenix. I only live here because it was a really good job offer. Not that I don't like it here but I really miss our season tickets...

It does not matter.

This (from Jurecki) sums up why:

BA: On if Chandler Catanzaro has his full support "Yes"

So no accountability? Check. I guess I should have known better, seeing as BA won't admit any culpability either. I'm getting disillusioned fast here.

He said basically the same thing about Amos Jones. He said it wasn't on Amos, it was on himself.

You are not in the locker room. Arians might say stuff in a presser for player incentive to get their arse in gear if he feels a unique circumstance and the player's character would get them to fight for the job but there are certain things at this level you do not let outside of the locker room. There is no way either him or Keim know that Amos is not getting it done, and I doubt nothing was said... everyone needs to chill :)

There's a big difference between support and accountability. Last night, BA told Chandler that he has to make that kick and referenced the simplicity of hitting a 24 yard try.

What use is it for Arians to continue to bag on Chandler? Trust me, fans do a great job of perseverating over players' mishaps.

Accountability = losing your job when you fail at it so badly, not getting a talking to behind the scenes.

He's an 86.7% kicker. How is he "failing" so miserably at his job?

I don't know who decides whom plays on the special teams but when some one thinks it's okay to have K. Williams blocking on any kick is an idiot. The Seattle player just ran over him. Why wasn't that some one like Taylor or even B. Williams blocking instead of K. Williams? When did they even resign Williams back to the team?
