Navarre.

Again, why is McCown the only guy that gets a serious look? Give Navvare a few weeks to get timing. He had a great pocket presence. Didnt look scared.

He just needs to sync up.

Keep Navarre. Season's over anyway, need to see what he can do rest of the games with few additional practices and starts. We already know both McCown and King are not the answers.

I totally agree...

2 INT's were the result of bad passes... give him the rest of the season

Navarre. I don't think any of these clowns is the answer, but we may as well see what we have in Navarre. Firing Alex Wood would be a suggestion also.

And does anybody else wonder why our o-line looks so much better in pass pro with King and Navare taking snaps as opposed to McCown?

Totally disagree.

Right now we are facing the prospect of picking up three QB's in the offseason.

The only decent QB on the roster is Josh. We won games with him and at least figure out if you want him back as a backup.

The other two need to walk the streets IMO.

I finished the game with a different feeling. Like the one watching a guy make his first ever start without having 2 years on the sideline to see how it all works.

I actually am ok with what I saw and look forward to seeing any improvement between now and say 3-4 weeks from now.

It doesn't make any difference. The offense is horrible. Nothing new there. The Cards have averaged 15.4 points per game since opening day 2002!

Well at least we get to play for worst team in the NFL again next Sunday vs. the niners. Should be fun.

The season is now over, I would stay with Navarre and see if he can be an NFL QB. I think Josh is already a decent backup and a decent starter on a good team. Our line did well today giving time to throw. Where were they when Josh was in there?

I say keep Navarre for the rest of the games. We already know King and Josh sucked ass why not give it to the rookie.

Well I'm happy your glad about it but Navarre stinks and isn't accurate enough for a statue.

There was a very good reason he was a 7th round pick.

Decent Arm, has courage, just can't hit the broad side of a barn.

I knew someone would say only two picks were bad but he had almost 6 one was called back the other should have been picked. It all evens out and 4 picks to one td isn't going anywhere.

To defend him is simply too easy with our WR and RB.

Josh can run, dosen't that much but he can, the other teams we play will just smother our WR and choke us to death waiting for Navarre to throw a pick. Maybe if we had a burner he could be decent but we don't and he can't throw deep accurately anyway.

I think they should just start Navarre the rest of the season. If Green thinks McCown and King can't hack it, there is no reason to put them back in barring injury.

conrad refresh my memory didnt you say Josh needed like 12 weeks to see what he is made of. But you get all this from a rookies first start when Josh had 3 years on the sidelines.

You outta be an NFL scout if you can get all that from 1 start ever.

I guess if Navarre didn't get the hook after the 4th pick we can expect him to get the start against the whiners.

Still, that was SERIOUSLY bad. If he keeps throwing four picks a game, he won't last long.

Big big difference.

Josh is the prototype QB in the NFL, and I am not just saying that DG said that to draft another slow WR he loves Fitz.

Josh is the only home run possiblity on the roster. He is the only QB that even has a chance.

Navarre could run a very good offense almost competently. Josh won 4 games with this train wreck yet everyone said he was holding the team back.

Yeah holding it back from numerous turnovers.

When every other QB has tried to go downfield with this Mercedees it looks more like a Pinto with bad tires.

I don't even care about Josh anyway. I am only speaking in terms of honest player evaluation.

We have one QB who is even worth evaluating and as sad as that is that's the truth.

Navarre, hands down.

It's never been more clear that we need a quality running back. This game came down to Kevin Jones vs Larry Croom and Jones won in a knockout.
No way in hell should Navarre have had to throw it 40 times.

Navarre. We know what we have with Josh, and it stinks.

Navarre showed a LOT out there, for a rookie in his first start.

And despite all the noise about him being immobile, he actually feels the rush and can sidestep it, move up or alter his position to not get sacked. That "statue" line is completely baseless. The low throwing angle, however, is something that needs corrected. A six-six guy shouldn't be having passes bounce off helmets...that's something I expect from midget qbs like king.

His problem was INTs, and that's a common young guy mistake. NFL Defenses are different to read, and this guy is calm, cool and seems very confident in the pocket. He could be pretty good, and at least we'll know if he'll be a good backup next year if we get a FA...I'd rather put 5 games under his belt right now since he'll actually be on the team next year.

Josh and King...nice having you. Well, not really, but good try Josh and you suck King.

You aren't going to win many games when the other team's RB drops damn near two hundred yards on you.

You know some teams... some, actually can tell without playing a player he can't play.

You'd think DG could but I don't think so.

Navarre to ever be successful would have to be more accurate than he is.

I can tell you why he was a 7th rounder.

He is smart, he has courage, he has some skills but he can't make deep throws or consistent ones. Without that a statue for a QB is useless.

He's less accurate than Josh, he can't scramble.

Game over.
