Who will the Suns draft at #13?

The Suns will be drafting #13 in the NBA Draft unless some major luck with the ping pong balls gets them into the top three. Now we can start focusing on what players the Suns should draft at this selection.

Not to pick a nit but we could still end up drafting 14th if the team below us gets lucky. Doesn't matter though because I am very confident that we will hit pay dirt and end up with the first pick. I'm even more confident than I was each of the past two years when I was also confident that we were going to hit it big. So, with that said, I say draft Anthony Davis.

Sure but there's only about a 1.7% chance that we will move down which means our chances of moving up are appreciably better than they are of moving down. That, to me, spells lock - we're moving on up. Just don't run this post through a logic filter and we should be all right.

Yeah, that was horrible. The Suns' chances then were around 63%, if I remember correctly.

Personally, I like Jones as a 6'11" freakishly long and athletic "3" that could be put immediately be put into the starting line up.

Personally, I like Jones as a 6'11" freakishly long and athletic "3" that could be put immediately be put into the starting line up.

I know a lot of people agree with those projections but I really don't think he'll be there when we draft. I hope I'm wrong. He's inconsistent but his ceiling is as high as you could hope for drafting anywhere out of the top 3. As I've said before, I doubt he'll be there when the 10th pick rolls around.

I like Lamb and Wroten sure seems interesting. As for Austin Rivers, he is a heck of a talent but I get the sense he should stay in school another year. Who knows, maybe its because he looks like he is 18, but his skill level appears to be very high.

actually Jeremy might fall as he is being considered soft by a lot of scouts. Would love him for Suns too. Wouldn't mind Doron either if Suns acquire late first round pick.

I disagree. After carefully watching several games, I'm sold on Sullinger. Rebounding is one thing that always translates from college to NBA. He has a really nice low-post game too.

I know he will not be a star, but he will be a SOLID power forward in the NBA.

I'm totally against picking up Sullinger. I just don't see how is he a better pro than Tyler Hansbrough. In fact, Hansbrough was a better college player and I just don't see anything in Sullinger's play and skillset that could transform better in NBA than in case (for example) Hansbrough.

Sullinger is not a leaper, his 1st step and wingspan are average at best even at NCAA standards. His motor and finesse helped him but I do think that his ceiling is quite low.

You're right, his ceiling is quite low. However, his floor is pretty high. He will probably be a decent power forward if paired with a good center and if not, he'd be an excellent backup. Double teams will eat him alive so he has to be on a team that has enough threats to keep the defense honest.
