Well judging from what Lakeshow posted, it seems that it very well could be a fondling incident.

The original report was felony sexual assault. I don't know Colorado law, but there's absolutely no way that mere fondling can be a felony. If the charge is for felony sexual assault, it's more serious than a boob grab.

Also, there are reports of "physical evidence" on/from the victim. I don't know what kind of physical evidence fondling would leave, but it couldn't be very specific.

Why all the venom Chap, or am I misintrepreting what you are saying?

Actually, the first sentence of my post was written as both of us were posting. So I went back in and edited my post to say I heard it from someone who apparently quoted the criminal code. That's all. I guess that last little sentence sounds bad, but wasn't meant to be. Sorry about that.

No problem!

Actually I backtracked on my last two posts. First I said that it could be fondling, then I stated that it probably wasn't. :D

Good point. Another part of the story that bothers me, and makes me think that Mr. Kobe Bryant might just be a rapist.

(Before anyone says anything about me saying that he "might just be a rapist", I'm not a judge or a juror, so I'm allowed at this present juncture, to believe he is one (even though I want more evidence before I openly condemn him.)

Many hospitals have nurses that can identify the signs of a sexual assault.

Obviously, when a woman doesn't want to have sex, there are injuries to not only the female's genitalia, but the males as well.

If Kobe raped her, it would be apparent.

On ESPN news yesterday they had 2 former colorado state DAs in for an interview. They explained a lot of the process that is most likely happening right now, but they both made this comment:

Misdemeanor assault is usually clothes on
Felony is usually clothes off

That was their difference, so you can interperut "clothes off" as you please

With all this talk of Kobe suddenly getting "street cred" for his arrest, I think it should be pointed out that he was in Colorado attending a spa. Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with spas, but let's just say I don't see Damon Stoudamire and Rasheed Wallace taking a few tokes then calling up their posses and rolling in their Escalades over to Colorado to get a seaweed wrap.

Huh? How would Bryant being accused of rape give him street cred?

Kobe Bryant will never have any street cred, since he grew up as a rich kid and speaks five different languages. Street cred isn't earned, you either have it or you don't.

Not even by picking up a sexual assault charge?

Damn, tough system.

Street cred??

Heh, I just don't get it.

Can't believe it's even a topic.

BTW, street cred got Lloyd Daniels pretty far.
