I only skimmed Kent's article, but in doing so, I don't recall mention of A-Dub's most recent injury and other ones earlier last year.

The reality was that he had an off year last year and the early part of this year, but has been playing lights-out of late - and before that, there were extenuating circmstances.

You never heard about the injuries from Adrian because he's as anti-Diva as Brett Favre was the Diva-in-Chief.

Regarding Somers - some of you young ones probably don't realize that back in the day, he was considered to be pathologically negative toward all things Cardinals. He's mellowed since then and has been pretty objective of late. I certainly wouldn't label him as a homer or management's lap-dog. Far from it.

It seems clear to me Wilson is one of the most competitive players on our team. It also seems obvious he is better near the LOS as many announcers note he is almost a linebacker. His experience allows him to do things many of our young up and coming guys cannot. He still has a lot to bring to the table. It may not be as a strong safety but where ever he is playing he was a positive on our team this year and looks to me like he has probably 2 more years of play. I know of no one on our team at present who would be better at his position. I do not think we should try and use Peterson at that position. Wilson is smart and experienced enough to play near the LOS and still be a strong safety. He is probably our hardest hitting player in our defensive backfield.

Wilson will go down as one of the most beloved Cards ever when it's all over, after having spent his entire career here, multiple pro-bowls, and a SB birth. Who knows what's left. He was the bridge from SDS to the new stadium and from constant suffering to heights most fans in AZ never thought possible and still may not yet imagine.

I don't think Somers was out of line, but I understand Wilson's post. He wasn't just calling out Somers, but the fact that everyone doubts him.

He is the only team Captain on the list. He has played the whole season with 1 arm. He will someday be on the ROH. He might make the hall of fame.

I can get why all the "What have you done for me lately" questions would piss you off. Doesn't mean it is right, but I understand it.

I hope they put AW's name right under by seat on the ROH; Adrian is "the man" on our defense, he is our "hitter", he puts the sign out "come at your own risk".

There will come a year he will retire; I am not looking forward to it, because Somers is right, we don't have anyone to fill those shoes; but that was Somers not to subtle message: not getting any younger...earns a lot of $...time to draft a replacement....

You know, I am not thrilled with the article about the future Cardinal HOFer; I wonder what journalistic-jokey takes easy pot-shots against Ray-Ray in Baltimore. Some pimple-head that hasn't done anything for history of the game.

Still my man, my last post on twitter (months ago) was on A-Dub. If you gotta problem with him, or if you thought he was toast, you'll still get to see him every Sunday for a long while. I remember getting into it in here with someone, last year was bogus to throw on the "done scale" between his injuries and that last D.C.

A-dub was a bit gimpy last year, and was still dropped back in pass coverage quite often, even though it made no sense considering the type of injury he had.

This year, up at the L.O.S., freakin out the QBs on their blitz read. #24 BRINGS IT, and doesn't care if the refs agree with how he does it. We've all seen D-wash get burned a couple times this year, he is one of my favorite players. But when he is representing the blitz, commits to it up on the line, then he has to drop back and gain ground on receivers that already face and burn guys that can run a forty like the wind....

As far as covering this year, A.W. has been in multiple spots to make the pick, meaning he has been in position or even better, freelancing and making plays.

It might be the bum arm, but the only thing I've seen even semi complainable this year is his hands. I think he could have had a few picks, but then again, he is still making plays on the ball, making it uncatchable, and he is where he is supposed to be. PP and the secondary mixed with some Horton thoughts and a front that is getting there.

A.W. is a freak in nature the way T.O. is, but his drama only affects the opposing QBs! Love this guy, if he wants to give the media a playful wedgie, and give one of those HA! posts on twitter to all the age clock watching monuckas, he does his real talking on the field.
