I dont what you see that you DONT like. The kid has everything you look for in a QB.. Success at the division one level, extreme accuracy, athletic, very high TD/int ratio..etc... his measurables at the combine as well equate to phenomenal prospect.
Hasn't run a pro offense, and word on the street is he is none to bright, i.e. can't read a defense to save his life.
You never know, because these ridiculous spread offenses that are all pre-dedicated passes determined before the snap.
I think it is a mistake to draft him at #7.
But throw my weights throw the TV if we do draft him ? No. Probably not.
Why ? Cause we is there at #7, pass rusher or offensive lineman, can be had in the 2nd round.
If we draft Geno Smith, and then go on to get Menelik Watson in the 2nd, and Brandon Jenkins in the third, I really couldn't complain.
But, good thing Smith is fast, he will be running for his life.
