Lamar Jackson and Tom Brady have legitimate cases to make. Dak Prescott will be in the conversation also with whichever QB leads the team who wins the AFC West.
Jonathan Taylor is in the mix

Josh Allen? No way.I think Brady is going to get it just off sheer numbers. As long as he doesnt lose more than 2 games.
There seems to be a real push for Josh Allen, but he's not been better than Herbert this year to me.

the most important piece of information today is the damn injury report.
Care to extrapolate on that Dak take?Dak? Please. Lamar should be tough to win based on his play (lots of bad turnovers/can't pass to win). Brady will probably win it. My hope is that KM comes back, keeps playing lights out, and we secure the #1 seed.
Care to extrapolate on that Dak take?
The Ravens are currently the #1 seed in the AFC and they're nowhere without Lamar Jackson.
Ultimately, this discussion is academic. The Cards just need to keep banking wins.
Dak isn't winning enough or willing them to win enough. This is a high bar--it's MVP, not A Very Good Player. Lamar Jackson has much more of a claim, but hasn't been terribly good. You're right, they'd be nowhere without him, but he hasn't been close to as good as KM.Care to extrapolate on that Dak take?

KM being out 3 weeks and us still winning and basically destroying teams in 2 of 3 weeks actually hurts Kyler.... While kinda silly logic it shows we can still compete and win without him so is he really the "most valuable" Hurts because hes been out of the limelight for over a month too.Dak isn't winning enough or willing them to win enough. Ultimately, you're right. We end up 15-2 with KM finishing out the campaign, and he should be the MVP.
I know, I know, I need to stop being a Debbie Downer but this is the exact same thing he said after the GB game...Then after the SF game...Then after the Carolina game...Then after the Seattle game.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Kyler in a league of his own

Right there with you, man. I am not inspired to confidence.I know, I know, I need to stop being a Debbie Downer but this is the exact same thing he said after the GB game...Then after the SF game...Then after the Carolina game...Then after the Seattle game.
Just tell us if you are playing or not!!! We miss you K1!

Only 5 of them have a winning record against winning teams. That makes Brady’s numbers all the more incredible.I don't have a table for all QBs vs. teams 5 games over .500, but this table that I linked last week shows records vs. all winning teams (compiled before this season):
Code:Player Total Wins Losses Ties % Lamar Jackson 16 10 6 0 .625 Patrick Mahomes 16 10 6 0 .625 Tom Brady 121 74 47 0 .611 Jimmy Garoppolo 15 9 6 0 .600 Russell Wilson 59 32 27 0 .542 Marcus Mariota 25 12 13 0 .480 Aaron Rodgers 80 36 43 1 .456 Jared Goff 31 14 17 0 .451 Josh Allen 17 7 10 0 .411 Dak Prescott 33 13 20 0 .393 Matt Ryan 86 31 55 0 .360 Mitch Trubisky 23 8 15 0 .347 Kyler Murray 14 3 11 0 .333 Carson Wentz 31 10 21 0 .322 Baker Mayfield 20 6 14 0 .300 Deshaun Watson 26 7 19 0 .269 Drew Lock 8 2 6 0 .250 Derek Carr 59 14 45 0 .237 Sam Darnold 17 4 13 0 .235 Ted Bridgewater 18 4 14 0 .222 Kirk Cousins 42 7 35 0 .173 Justin Herbert 6 1 5 0 .166 Matt Stafford 75 8 67 0 .106 Daniel Jones 9 0 9 0 .000
It's seems clear that while many other factors are at play, Stafford contributes a great deal to this level of suck.
