Were we mad about the Robinson thing - yeah - we have little faith in our unproven WRs. Are we made when we see DE and DT's out ther who we could use and we don't sign them? Yeah - it's because our d-line has been pathetic for years. If you notice ther is a certain method to this madness - we get upset when we see a player who comea round who we think would help this team - sue us.

Cheese - sometimes I think you are going to have a heart attack while posting.

no it's just my writing style - I write free flow a lot, especially when it comes to sports and I usually just go off on a tear - you should see the movies I've written and directed - I'm pretty much in your face and extremely expressive in everything I do.

Actually, if you remember, Graves told us to judge the team that went into camp. I've seen them, I've judged them, and I find them, frankly, a little wanting.

We'll see what happens in three quarters of play Friday night, but this has the look of a team that's going to get destroyed in the first quarter of the season, show signs of life in the middle half, and then maybe (barring injury) be a team that a lot of guys aren't going to want to play in December. Unfortunately, it's going to be way too late to do anything at that point.

Kind of like the 2002 Seahawks.

I would pay top $ to see a movie you have made. I can't imagine. Your new nickname should be "The Zit" - always in your face.

I live in Los Angeles - dropped out of law school after two years some three years ago to thorw my hat into my dream - becoming a filmaker(writer/director) in lovely Hollywood. With a budget of 4 grand, and a cast of 60 - we shot the movie all over the west - Yuma, San Diego, Phoenix, Tucson, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara - my cousin described it as SCARY MOVIE meets KIDS. I kinda like that. If I ever figure out a way to put the damn trailer on the net - I will - I love getting feedback and people's reactions.

We're currently cutting it down to a short to submit to festivals this fall and it is a bitch and half to do so. But if anyone wants a copy - let me know and I'll see what I can do about getting you a VHS.

Oh and for those who think the darkside rules my life and I am pessimistic in everything I do - tell me how many people you know that are in the top ten percent of their law school class and looking at great money coming out of school who then give it all up to be beaten and whipped up in hollywood for ten dollars an hour to follow what they believe in. I'm a dreamer - folks - don't let the Cards nightmare fool ya.

You are an Artist! That's why you are so dramatic all the time.

While I think you are crazy for giving up you Law degree, I must commend you on following your dream. Good luck with your film.

Will do. And as a service to our little Card community here, I'll even post a review on this board after viewing. I have a good sense of humor and I've gotten through several meals at The Olive Garden so yes, I have a strong stomach too. Good for you for following your dream - takes guts.

I guess what you wrote in the first line makes complete and absolute sense - I never really thought about my posts being dramatic like that - but you hit the nail on the head.

Also - I've heard the crazy thing before - hell I heard it BEFORE i even went to law school -s o that's nothing new - but I appreciate the support.

the really funny thing is that cheese, outside of the cards' threads, is the most laidback, easy going individual you'll ever meet, unless he's doin' the snake dance . . . now that's sumpin' y'all should see sometime . . .

Visual raping - I like that - I don't think it lives up to that glorious new term - but I like it nonetheless.

Hmmm...... what about D&O1? Does it exist or did you skip straight to the sequal?

Boy - we didn;t need Ted Washington either right folks? ...Washington was traded from the Bears to New England today for a fourth round pick.

Cheesy:

The "Sports Zone" afternoon show on KDUS just had Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times on, and asked him about the Washington deal. Biggs said that the Chicago coaches are trying to change their d-line philosophy; instead of funneling plays to the LBs, they want their linemen to get upfield and pressure the QB. Sound familiar?

In other words, the coaches who worked with Ted Washington last year, and this offseason, let him go because they didn't think he could play in a scheme and techniques very similar to what the Cardinals are implementing. Maybe the Cards' passing on Washington made more sense than you realized.

Which is exactly why I wasn't all pissed about the Cards not getting Washington (if they even knew he was available). To me, Washington is representative (symbolically) of a Cards plan that is faulty.

I have no doubt one of the reasons he was traded was the change in philosophy. I also happen to now believe there is another shoe going to drop with the Bears and making moves. We shall see.

A fourth for Washington?

I wouldn't do it. This year a 4th would of got us DT Rien Long, Wr Brandon Lloyd or RB Ontario Smith - all who would have made our team better for years to come.
