This season is poo. Coaching sucks, players suck and/or are underwhelming, and fans are pissed, which means apathy is starting to set in. For example, I didn't flinch when the GW FG went in, wherein past seasons, I would've yelled expletives and been unapproachable for the rest of the day.

I'm not convinced that Bidwill is going to fire both Wilks and Keim in the same offseason given the fact that they're both on the first year of their new contracts. I am convinced that one goes.

If you're Bidwill, which one do you fire this offseason?

Neither will get fired.

I highly doubt that. All signs point to 2-14, with maybe one lucky win. 3-13 with no hope in sight is going to keep everyone safe, especially since Keim was asked last week if Wilks' job is safe and he quickly sidestepped the question.

The Bidwills are cheap bastards, but at least Michael will sacrifice some $$$ to put a winner on the fired.

BTW - I did add a "neither" option.

Wilks cannot be fixed. Keim could possibly be fixed.

Buy Stevie Wilks Booth a Greyhound Bus ticket to Carolina.

More than anything I'd like to see Michael bring in a consultant, a wise NFL front office type or respected ex-coach to evaluate the organization from top to bottom. There is
little doubt that Wilks is gone Dec. 31 barring a remarkable turnaround starting Sunday in L.A. Keim is more up in the air. That's why I'd like Michael talking to people
outside the organization.

Unless there is a new head coach, top tier free agents won't consider the Cardinals.

The Bidwill's have never fired any HC after 1 season, but there has never been a first year Cardinal HC who's team has performed as miserably as this team has. I'm sure that MB thought this team would improve, even slightly, from last year's 8-8 team. When a team goes from 8-8 to 2-14, that is a humongous drop off. One that probably cannot be ignored. I'm not sure if beating Detroit should matter. I think he has to beat 2 decent teams to save his job. One of them will have to be either the Rams at home or Seattle on the road.

If I had to fire one it would be Keim:

He screwed the team with his DUI and missed a month of training camp.

Panicking and signing Gresham to a crazy contract.

Forcing draft busts on Wilks like Nkemdiche and Brandon Williams.

Relying on an offensive line that has a history of injuries.

Total lack of depth all over the roster.

Not a single QB on the roster to start the offseason.

This season is beyond painful... But, I just don't think firing Wilks or Keim is best...at this point. Firing either one of the two, or both, only sets this whole thing back even further.
My preference would be to give them both one more year (2019) to demonstrate they have this thing moving in a right direction.
Candidly, I have serious doubts about both. But my preference is to give them a chance in the upcoming draft and Free Agency, to build something that even resembles a NFL roster... and then to let that play-out in 2019 season.

Wilks without a doubt. Keim may suck, but Wilks is up there with some of the worst in franchise history. And this is the Cardinals' Franchise, not a winner.

Keim is signed through 2022 and Wilks through 2021 so I don't wee either being fired this year. That is a lot of money to eat. But you never know.

Wilks. IMO, Keim is a league-average or maybe slightly above-average GM. The last two years have tarnished his shine a little bit, and his handling of the offensive line is a huge question mark. But he handles all the administrative stuff really well and has a good reputation around the league (despite the DUI).

This was a good draft class. Half the foundation for this team is free agents brought in by Keim. I'm willing to give him another year.

Wilks is a below-average head coach who gives us no advantage at any point in the process. He'll likely harm the development of our young QB. Lock him up.

The Bidwills have been NFL owners for three generations. They were in the Super Bowl 10 years ago and in the playoffs four years ago. This isn't the Browns or Sixers situation where there's no one in the organization who knows how the NFL works.

You are outta your mind. Yeah let’s take the team that gave us 2-14 (likely) and hope and pray they are better than what they’ve shown. Yuck. Sign me up for anything other than what 82 suggests.

This year sucks, but firing Keim would be a knee-jerk reaction. He's part of the personnel who have made the Cardinals not be perennially a horrible team. How much is he a reason this team competitive most seasons? Who knows, but I think he deserves a chance to get us out of this mess.

Only a little under two season ago we had the 12th best NFL record for the last decade. Keim brought in a lot of those players. He does need more help with his draft selects though, IMO:

I was tempted to vote Wilks because he’s definitely the greater evil of the two. But I voted Keim because at least that ensures he’s gone and no other replacement GM will ride with wilks long so likely mid year next year wilks is gone. I’m good sacrificing next year if it ensures both are out.

To answer the poll...Wilks absolutely.

To answer in reality...BOTH should go the second the last game is over.

If this happens, please don't repeat last year when the Cards were the last team to hire a coach who was the last piece on the scrap pile and no one else wanted.

I picked Keim. My reasoning is a little different. Keim hired Wilks. Keim hired McCoy. Keim knew what style of defense Wilks was going to run and Keim not only hired him anyway, he failed completely in getting him any pieces needed to run the new system. Instead, he got drunk and missed the entire offseason.
