if you beleive this, then you should save your draft capital so you can move up next year in a better QB draft class
you read the part where i said we'll be drafting even later in the 2026 draft, right? i don't see us being a player in the 2026 draft unless we start clayton tune - that's not gonna happen

word on this draft is edge rushers - not qbs - you strike while the iron's hot - can monti afford to not address the edge this year? like seriously address it?

sure we can afford to address it in free agency but it's a lot cheaper to do so in the draft allowing us to address other less expensive areas in free agency

far as qb goes - it will likely be a full year AFTER kyler murray is gone before we can draft a legit new one - so we're looking at 2 years from now according to this "plan" we've all mapped out regarding murray's exit strategy

Many of us thought Monti should have double dipped into WR last draft.

He should definitely double dip into edge this draft... something like OLB/DT/OG/DE/WR in rounds 1 through 5

TRADE UP

we have many needs but one glaring need - to get to the quarterback - hindsight is will anderson - texans moved up to secure the two most important roster spots and look where they are

TRADE UP

we're not going to make some glorious run in 2025 - not with our current qb vs other playoff caliber qbs - i think our ceiling is a winning record which would have us drafting around #20 or so in 2026? time is now

TRADE UP

if anyone has shown they can utilize talent on this roster it's nick freakin rallis - imagine what he can do with one of the top edge rushers in this draft - we can have a playoff caliber defense
There is probably only one player I would trade up for at this point in time. In order to get high enough for Carter, the Cardinals would likely need to give up a 2026 1st rounder. This means they commit to Kyler through 2026. The question everyone would need to ask themself is, are they committed to two more years of Kyler.

Here is my list of options at #16. No particular order here. Some of these guys will very likely be selected before 16. This may be a little high for some of the players, but it is early in the process.

DL
Mason Graham - Michigan
Kenneth Grant - Michigan
Walter Nolen - Ole Miss
Derrick Harmon - Oregon
Omar Norman-Lott - Tennessee
Shemar Stewart - Texas A&M

EDGE
Abdul Carter - Penn St
James Pearce Jr - Tennessee
Jalon Walker - Georgia
Mike Green - Marshall
Mykel Williams - Georgia
Princely Umanmielen - Ole Miss

EDIT: Point of note. I don't rate any of the OL options as better options. They may rank similarly, but the current roster and positional value bumps them. Same with WR and CB. Also, Malaki Starks and Ashton Jeanty could be available when the Cardinals picks and would be better prospects but not an option IMO.
