    I don't think he is worth the max, but who has been in the past? Not many guys in pro sports are actually WORTH what they are being paid. Maybe to the owners and guys collecting the checks at the top, but for a FAN of the game? I say pay the man. It's not my money :D

    The Suns by all accounts had a great year. Sure, they didn't win it all, but these guys are human beings and are allowed to party and let loose after working hard since October (even before that) with little break.

    The thing with Amare is that he is virtually unstoppable against every team in the league except ONE. The Lakers are the only team that has enough length to slow him down. He's one of my fave players and I hope he sticks around, but I see your point, the guy is a vet and should be a lock down...

    I think the Zone defense will be the difference. Suns were able to hang around in game two and tie up the game for the start of the 4th qtr, and that was playing man-man defense. If the Suns zone works in LA, we'll win.
