    I'd expect us to go out and get a couple of LBs in FA and the draft then. Seems most of our guys are situational types. I'd really like to see us make a run at Suggs. We really do have the money to do it, seems silly not to.

    Hmmmm..... 1.75 mil savings seems right to me. 3.75 mil cap hit for this year (salary + bonus) - 2.00 mil (2009 bonus + 2010 bonus) = 1.75 mil. I'm sure I figured it wrong.

    In Pittsburghs scheme the outside guys are the better athletes, they drop into coverage, and blitz. Dansby is by far the most athletic linebacker we have. Would probably need to bulk up a little, to be ideal.

    I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he is moved to OLB if we bring in Butler. If thats the case, his agent will probably try to pry a little extra money from Graves. Hopefully they won't make, or even mention a move to OLB until the contract is done.

    Unless that guaranteed money is mostly in future roster bonuses, sounds like KC would be hit pretty hard on the cap with a trade.

    Yeah, I thought of the same thing earlier. Bring Warner to KC to groom their 1st round QB pick for 2 years. Then it occurred to me that Warner would probably rather retire than play for a team that has no shot at winning in the next 2 years.

    Yeah, its weird, but nice, drafting this low. I keep wanting to put Orakpo as our 1st rounder. I think we can get a starter at C, G, TE, or S here, all of which are needs to some degree.
