    Massive key to this is Butler, I'd love this trade for the heat if say they'd give Odom, Grant and a 1st rounder. Adding Butler just seems like it's too much. Then again without him it seems like too less for the Lakers to accept. :confused:

    I know Marions contract sucks and all but I would MUCH rather he stay. JJ and Marion or Q and Marion is alot better IMO then Q and JJ. Could we still sign Dice if we signed Q to this deal? Q's shooting percentage isn't much chop... at 39% from the field... that is a little alarming for a SG.

    Why are teams allowed to go over the salary cap? Why isn't it just illegal. Forget the extra money teams must fork over when they exceed it, why not just say the salary is 'this much' and thats it. no going over. It's a joke that teams like LA are so far over the cap.

    The $7500 fine is an insult. If thats the detorent for players not to dangerously hit each other, it's ridiculous. I thought the league had a perfect opportunity to send a clear message to fans that they weren't so bias. Yet they blew it.
