    trade proposal

If you want to remove both Q and Marion from the lineup Ratliff Anderson for Q Marion Anderson replaces JJ at the 2, JJ moves to the 3, Ratliff at center.

Fine the deal would still work without #57. Jim Jackson was viewed as a malcontent. He was in Portland and was given the same label, get Anderson out of that environment and I bet his perception changes.

    trade proposal

Heres mine Suns Q Voskuhl (if takes his option) #57 to Blazers Derek Anderson #35 Derek Anderson is a better on the ball defender than Q and about the same % at 3pt. range. Contract is up in 2 years. Q would be happy in Portland with Miles. Suns use #35 to get backup PG.

I just don't see Peja and Skinner being able to play at the pace the Suns did this year. Plus you are giving up an awful lot of athleticism.

So you are taking away both Marion and Richardson from the starting lineup.

Evaluation from San Antonio workout http://draftcity.com/viewarticle.php?a=194 A lot of comparisons to Marion and the Suns.

    Is Simeon An Option?

Well said FDog, the lane has to be open for Nash to operate. If there was player trying to post up it would cut down on Nash's effectiveness. How many times does he go to the goal and just looks for options, in a sense he is our low post presence.

That being said I don't think they will trade Peja at all, they moved Webber to keep the peace in Sac. More than likely they will build around him.

    Is Simeon An Option?

I agree, his scoring mainly came from down on the blocks as a low post threat. Also got a lot of scoring from the FT line after getting contact down low.

I am down for Peja for Q there is our outside threat.

    Thinking About Q

If he is going to matched up against the other teams SF, he is not going to be a very effective post up player. I think that Q relies on the 3 because he is not athletic as the others in the lineup to create his own shots, and that is where others get there mid range shots. I can't remember Q...

Shad Ford Blog - Suns still rising

It is nice to get an honest appraisal of Q from an outside source. I know there are a lot guys on this board who like his enthusiasm but that alone is not a reason to keep him. There are a lot of guys out there who can bring enthusiasm but have more talent and are not bipolar. I guess I have...

    Suns Promise Diogu

If Jackson is back with the LAL, I could see him in the triangle offense. If the Lakers don't take him he will fall into the 20's.

    Dan Gadzuric

I would rather find a way to get a hold of Francisco Elson instead of these two.

Players available on the Suns 21st pick

Kennedy Winston might be a sleeper in this draft.

    Suns Promise Diogu

Sean May will be like Scott Williams in his prime.

    Thinking About Q

With 600 attempts from the arch, his role seems to be an outside threat.
  19. C

    Thinking About Q

Again this is just my impression of the offense, but it is predicated on facing up your defender and Richardson does not have the best skills at taking his opponent off the dribble. Q's role this season was at the arch when all along we expected him to be effective as a post up player. When you...

Need to move up in the draft & get:

Sounds like if the Suns are interested in Diener (like I hope they are) they might have to move up in the second round. He has had some great workouts for LA and Utah (current article on draftcity).

Who are Suns free agents this off season?

Just went to realgm and confirmed the Suns hold the option on Shirley for the 2005-6 season.

    Suns Promise Diogu

I hope we do take a HSer, Blatche. Here's what I'd like to see. Nene Lenard #20 or #22 for Q Lenard has 250,000 buyout that could be exercised before July 14th, buy it out and open up cap space. Use the cap space (3.5M) to get a veteran pt. guard (like Dan Dickau, who would receive...

Exactly, why not make a promise to someone you know is not going to be available.

    It Was a Great Run

For some reason both you and cheesebeef like to overstate my position. I don't hate Q, I just don't like his style of play and I have different perception of his character than you guys. He did more than I expected this season, but if he is our 3pt specialist (most 3pt attempts, 226 for 631...
