    OT: Robert Royal to Browns

Very true. We are starting to see the value of waiting. The price is starting to fall off a cliff for a lot of still decent players.

FA 3-4 DE Mike Wright visits Cardinals

That could well be true but he's only a 4 year guy. A lot of times these defensive lineman develop slowly. Look at our own Antonio Smith. It took him several seasons before he even really started contributing. So I hold out hope that this is guy that is just starting to get it. That seems to...

The Matt Leinart era "probably" ends

And your going to hold that against him? ;)

    Warner a Fraud?

Or how much he needed the Cardinals to up their offer before he accepted. ;)

The McFadden "Meet and Greet" Stunt is the most classless move by the FO in years

Great post. You hit it exactly. It is hard for fans to wait but out the first week or so but the real value comes after the gold rush. Now is the time when some of these guys realize that the big money has gone and they will be looking for a place to land at a reasonable price. Think about...

    Warner a Fraud?

This what the guys on NFL Radio were saying. Kurt goes to SF and it's reported that he gets a big offer. The Cards raise their offer some. Kurt ends up taking the Cards offer and rides back into Arizona as hero having taken less money but really taking more money to save the poor Arizona...

    Warner a Fraud?

There is starting to be a backlash against Kurt. I was listening to NFL Radio and they were skewering KW. One of the guys was former player Ross Tucker and I'm not sure who the other guy was. I won't comment much about the religion thing but they really questioned some of his statements and...

Most of the core is intact...

There are several player that I think they will bring back that were either injured, on the practice squad, or they really like. Monty Beisel-He has played well at linebacker when given the opportunity. Ali Highsmith-Was put on injured reserve but before that was a special...

    Boldin Rumor on ESPN Insider

Kiwanuka worries me because he has had trouble staying healthy I believe. I don't know enough about Alford to comment.

    wow...

I strongly disagree. Graves did make a mistake with the Pace/Johnson debacle but that was when he was new on the job. We also have to remember that both those players are still productive players in the league after several years. It's not that they were terrible players, they just never...

Rumor: Coaches who left, will not get SB bonus money

You know it's easy to pile on the Cardinals for being cheap even when it isn't true but you rarely hear the storys about when they're not cheap. I heard Mike Jureki report around the time of the Super Bowl that the Cardinals gave every employee of the organization two tickets to the Super...

Free Agents the Cardinals should be looking at

This one worries me a little. We make a big deal out of higher profile players but Elton Brown is a swing man that has played every position save center on the offensive line. He tends to get forgotten because we stayed healthy this year but we need him or a guy like him in the event...

I heard the 4 million figure quoted on NFL radio today.

Warner/Bartelstein: NEW OFFER TO CARDS!! (reasonable)

I like your post with on small quibble. Warner will be 38 next season. The odds are getting higher every year he plays that he will play worse. On the other hand as Matty grows and learns and matures is almost a given that he will get better. The odds get better for Matt and worse for Kurt...

Warner/Bartelstein: NEW OFFER TO CARDS!! (reasonable)

Heres the problem though, what incentive does Matty have to restructure? If Kurts is still here and playing Matty will want out. What better way than to refuse to restructure his contract. If we cut him he can go where he wants and get another contract. If we keep him he gets his 15 million...

Great great post. Theres an old adage in the NFL " Championships aren't won in March".

Kansas City | Chiefs looking at LB Clark Haggans

Because maybe we think we can do better for cheaper. Remember he was a player who was cut last year and we picked him up. He was cut for a reason, they had better cheaper players. He was also injured last year and has been in the league for 9 years. He may be reaching the end of his useful NFL life.

Warner/Bartelstein: NEW OFFER TO CARDS!! (reasonable)

Couldn't agree more. The offensive line wasn't nearly as settled two years ago as it is now either. Warner had some time to throw this year. Matty didn't have any time when he was quarterbacking.

Warner/Bartelstein: NEW OFFER TO CARDS!! (reasonable)

This is what's so interesting about these negotiations and completely backward from most other contract talks that are done. Most players want as much money up front as they can get. If they can get all the bonus in year one so much the better. The Cards in the past wanted to spread the bonus...

Warner/Bartelstein: NEW OFFER TO CARDS!! (reasonable)

So true, but what this is is a fancy tied up with a bow PR move. If we don't sign Kurt we then are put in the position of almost saying no to two players. This just puts Kurt in the position of looking like the good guy that doesn't really care about money and puts the team first. It puts the...

Kansas City | Chiefs looking at LB Clark Haggans

Well, we did go to the Super Bowl without him. I think he got injured in week 11 and was placed on injure reserve. The guy had 19 tackles and 1 sack. Why do we try to make more out if this than there really is?

Latest Yahoo Mock Draft as of Last Night Has Us Taking..

I agree. I think vision is also extremely important. Thats why a guy like JJ Arrington just doesn't cut it. He has the speed but hes a straight line runner. Maybe you call it shift but I call it vision, the ability to see a hole either before it develops or as its developing and hitting it or...
