Did you think PM would sign with the Cards for less than that?
That offer looks pretty low to me, especially considering Adams has basically told his people to sign Manning at any cost.
Everyone knows it's going to take +-$20 million-per-season to sign Manning. Peyton's made so much cash in his career that I really doubt money is going to be the deciding factor.
Potential to win will be.
Peyton has better things going on right now than meeting with the Titans, like throwing, working out, clipping his toenails etc.
Adams is just grandstanding to appease his fanbase. Manning is NOT signing with Tennesee.
I never said Peyton wasn't going to meet with Titans, just that he hadn't yet.
No way is Tennessee in a 'dead heat' with Denver. Meeting with Tennessee is still just a courtesy, IMO.
Not buying it.
As of two hours ago, Munchak and Bud Adams were still in Nashville. Peyton was either at Duke working out or still in Indianapolis and Tennessee is neck-and-neck with Denver?
Polian is just speculating like everyone else.
First Moss and now Cox. SF is going for the title of All-Character Team in 2012.

They were all popping balloons with the logo of the teams they didn't think Peyton would go to and the Cards were the last one left.
Doesn't mean they all agreed.
The NFL Network Total Access crew (Hanson, Baldinger, Lombardi, LaCanfora) just predicted Peyton to the Cardinals.
wOOt! Probably guarantees he goes to Denver.
I agree. I was worried that he wouldn't meet with MIA or TEN until Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully, Peyton will grant the Titans a token interview tomorrow and it'll be over.
