Here are the UFA and RFA LB's

The way Hayes has played on special teams, I think he'd do just fine in the middle.

Why does everyone think a speed WR will solve all of our Offensive Woes?

I don't think the routes they run are suited to their strengths. Boldin's best production came when he was running over the middle. The short passes to Fitz do absolutly nothing. Sure, he catches it but there's nothing after it. Over the top passes are his strength, where he can use his size.

Find Ryan Dinwiddie Before Somebody Else Does

Dinwiddie was in a great system at Boise State. He was a very accurate passer, yet could not make it in Chicago this last off season. There's a reason he's not in the NFL. This is a case where it's the system, not the QB.

    Rattay or Dorsey?

This Niners team is in such disarray. I've heard that they won't even be able to afford their potential 1st pick in the draft. We honestly can not lose this game. The Cardinals are a better team. I think we all can agree on that.

PFW's The Way We Hear It

Two different players. Yeah, I'll admit that Jake probably would've pulled something out, but I also think that if McCown had started, and wasn't forced to play catch-up, we would've won as well.

PFW's The Way We Hear It

I'd love to play in the league and have a record but not if I had been in the league for 8 years and were being compared to Elway, would I like that one.

The Official "Good Luck Josh" thread

And how many times did Rattay throw to the TE? I'm not saying the offense isn't to balme as well, but that should be a defenses dream. They knew San Fran was going to throw. They knew who his favorite target was. C'mon, it's the Niners not the Colts.

PFW's The Way We Hear It

:biglaugh: Man that made me laugh. He did great yesterday. I wish I held the NFL record of throwing an INT with both my right and left hand.

Yeah, especially the San Fran game... wait... we should've won that game. How many points were we ahead?

Can someone please get Croom a compass?

I remember one play where he juked in, then out, but decided to go back in, right into the arms of a tackler. Had he stayed outside, he would've had a decent gain.

PFW's The Way We Hear It

After being thrown into a terrific situation. He was on a roll until Boldin fumbled. That destroyed whatever momentum the offense had going.

Their local media rep. is Darren Urban, whom I think is a solid Cardinal reporter.

The Official "Good Luck Josh" thread

I don't see why Green isn't calling the plays. I remember in Atlanta when he was and McCown seemed to run the offense well. It was the fumbles that killed him, but he was 20-26 for 196. Green should be the play caller. Have Wood draw up the game plan and relay to Green what is going on in...

Is mobility for a QB overrated

I guess it depends on the player. If McCown didn't have the 4.6 speed, he probably wouldn't have been drafted. On the other hand Big Ben wasn't exactly considered a burner when he came out of college, but he could throw. It also depends on the system. I honestly would take a pure pocket...

Ohio fans scoop on Martin Nance?

I was referring to how his numbers increased each game before his injury. But the injury hurt his production as well.

Lets not neglect the defense in the draft

I agree with Bryant. He's done nothing! Pace still needs another year. He's done a hell of alot more than Bryant has, with a year less to do it.

Ohio fans scoop on Martin Nance?

He's out for the year and last I heard he would be returning next year, he's only a junior. He was to Ben what Mike was to Carson at USC. I know he had only 90 catches as a sophmore and was just starting to turn it on when his knee blew out. Considering the huge drop off from Big Ben to...

Lets not neglect the defense in the draft

Let's not forget that Raynoch has sucked this year. I wouldn't be surprised that if he doesn't improve considerably, he were let go and then we'd have a place for #11 on the weak side.

    AZ Cards 2005 RB

I agree. He's way too fragile to take a chance on.

Mel Kiper - Four RBs could figure into draft's top 10

A kid I like who had a monster year is Ryan Moats out of Louisanna Tech. I haven't heard yet whether he's entering the draft seeing he's a Junior, but he's somewhat like Darren Sproles yet extremely powerful and lightning quick. Sproles is another guy I like. What about Dontrell Moore out of...

    Iwas excited. Now?

I am confused as well, but there isn't a Sunday that I'm not excited about watching this team play. With the second year of free agency and another draft you just never know. Except for the bye week. You know what's coming then.

    PFW on QB mess

I hope so. I hate to think where we go if it doesn't. Don't we have a QB on the practice squad?
