    conrad: I talked to Johnny at training camp a time or two...shot the breeze about Mizzou (although he was before my time - way before)...he was a great guy. He does appear that his knees (or something) are in really bad shape...I could see him retiring - but he seems to really love the game.

    something else I forgot to mention. I think we got lucky in one area: the chargers kept Martey. The chargers and green sound like a perfect match - his current hometown, underperforming team, etc.... maybe the cardinals curse if lifting.
