    Give Credit to both teams

To Minnesota for coming in here and playing very tough and hard nosed football after being called out by their coach after the loss to Seattle, despite the short week and the travel day included. To Arizona for refusing to give in and for sticking to their game plan of corralling Adrian...

    Herm Edwards Rant

He's right too. I just want to add that I believe the Az Cardinals are the least selfish players in the league.

bankybruce, that photo is the perfect example of a team imposing its will on the other late into the game.

Eagles Game is Flexed to SNF!

Haha-----it would appear that the East Coast Sports Conglomerate is hoping for yet another Eagles surprise thrashing of a top contender on prime time TV. I am betting that they are totally stoked with the way the upstart Eagles handled the Pats in Foxborough, and truly believe that it was due...

    AZ 27 STL 3 Thoughts

Hey Mitch, I love your thoughts. How Nooch and I both shouted aloud in our family room when DJ flipped the first blitzer that he faced upside down. While I had been confident of his abilities as a ball carrier, the blocking assignments were a concern of mine. Then he goes on to upend a...

Big shout out to the big man Ed Stinson...

Ed Stinson was huge in more ways than just his size Sunday. He did a job on Gurley.

    On To The Vikings...

My God, that must have been so very tough for him to go through. You could just see that loss eating away at him during the presser.

    I Was Right

Yep-------------Its December, (Kerwin Time)! How truly wonderful it was to see him again bursting through the holes and streaking N/S on a direct line to gobble up the most possible yardage before anyone could blink. The perfect compliment to spell DJ after the work horse was catching a much...

Be nice to see a statement game against an inferior foe

The Rams accumulated a total of 3 points, and 212 yards of offense. I believe that is a pretty darn good statement by the Cards 'D', while our offense scored 27, to probably remain the #1 offense in the league.

    The Defense!

As you said Nashman, giving up 3 points and 212 yards is great cause to acknowledge the D with a thread of their own in a divisional game on the road. Well done, both to the D and to you for starting this one.

    Bethel new contract!

Mitch, how wonderful is it that we are witnessing the work of Mike, Steve, and BA all over this franchise now? How nice is it to see that we can have conversations like this instead of lamenting how this one or that one got away from us and will be playing against us now? Good Lord, this is...

    AZ 19 SF 13 Thoughts

Great points all Mitch, but the one that I feel most strongly about is the one that both you and Darkside discussed---------player ownership of the games and their preparation. I love that we have reached that point in which, (especially key players and captains), have taken ownership of their...

    Food for thought-------------------

As I said, nothing will change this year, I am looking to the future of this team and am saying that with great offensive tools, we need a great offensive line. Otherwise we are simply going to continue hurting running backs and quarterbacks.

That's the way I see it too. I think the official got it right.

    Food for thought-------------------

After watching the fruitless attempts by our O-line to create holes for running backs on short yardage situations Sunday, it was apparent that Cooper's absence was greatly felt despite his inconsistencies. What was less noticeable, however, (although it has been ongoing for a number of years...

Great point cardpa-----------I was not aware of the separation that is beginning to show through the whole NFL between the really good teams and the also rans.

    Well, there you have it-----

It turns out that the uneasiness felt by several of us on the board during this weekly buildup to the road game with the Niners was justified. What was nice about this occasion however, was that the 'Old Cards' did not rear their ugly side and give in to a divisional rival who was laying in...

2 points on the end of game scenario

I can't argue against that logic Russ. I am just saying that BA is, (and always will be), a pedal to the metal guy. He preaches, (and practices), situational football every practice, and this is precisely one of the situations he is has prepared every member of his offense for. You hear him...

Why don't other teams throw deep more often?

In order to throw deep, you need to have speed receivers who can stretch the field and get away from their coverage. We have 4 of these, John Brown, Michael Floyd, Juron Brown, and now JJ. I don't know of another team that has more than one of these types, with the exception of Cincinnati, who...
