    Chris Johnson CJ2K

With the signing of Mathis, looks like the Cards will be running the ball a lot next year. Need to get CJ signed for backup insurance.

Evan Mathis offered 2 year deal by az

If he had an offer he should have taken it immediately. But, his agent Drew Rosenhaus indicates they'll be in no rush. So, Cards fans shouldn't get too overjoyed unless it's a done deal.

10 Players the Cardinals should look at in Free Agency

Posted by Splitsecond: I refuse to read "slideshow" list articles that exist only to sell 10 times more advertisement than real articles. Absolutely the worst thing about the internet. I agree. I do the same.

Grantland Article Today - Cards Heavily Featured

I like Grantland type articles! Gives you that eerie feeling that the Cards have big momentum in the upcoming games.

    Can you feel the Energy

My wife got a phone call from her brother, from Chicago, in the 2nd half. He turned off the TV!

Pro Bowl Punter Fields (Miami) released

I bet the Cards are looking at tape to see how he's done this pre-season.

    CB Tim Jennings

We don't need a 5"8" CB! WRs are just too tall and fast now days. So one-on-one is out of the question. Just zone coverage doesn't cut it.

    Cowboys have cut Ryan Williams

It seems like every year I scratch my head at our picks early on. This year I thought we were taking Randy Gregory for sure. Us drafting a tackle with our first pick was completely unexpected to me. Yea, I was thinking Gregory too. But, we should be set for years in the OL.

    WindCardinal's Final 53 Prediction

I agree with Mitch - Brittan Golden makes the team; too much talent. And, 3 TEs seem appropriate, with the third TE possibly coming off the waiver wire. Also, I'm not enthralled with Logan Thomas as the 3rd QB. If I was Coach, I'd start using him as a TE, right-off on Aug. 1, to see what he can do.

    John Carlson Retiring.

We shouldn't have traded way our 2nd round pick. I was hoping the Cards would have taken Max Williams at #2. Instead, Baltimore got him with our second rounder! Williams was the top pass catching TE in the draft. I don't believe too many people felt Carlson was going to be around much longer and...

2015 7th round pick is Gerald Christian TE

Shane - we traded up in the 4th.

2015 7th round pick is Gerald Christian TE

Mr Irrelevant has as good a chance of making the team as a couple our other draftees.

2015 7th round pick is Gerald Christian TE

No 6th rounder Shane. Traded away for the 4th.

2015 3rd round pick is David Johnson RB

He runs a 4.50 forty yard dash - pretty good for a 224 pounder. So, a fairly big RB and catches a lot of receptions out of the backfield. I guess we got some redemption in the 3rd round.

I'll miss Acho and I'm sure the locker room will too! Good luck to you Sam.

    AQ Shipley a Cardinal

He may be an RFA. If so, the Colts could match.

    Kerwynn Williams

He was a beast at Utah State in his Senior year (2012). He rushed for over 1,500 yards and had a lot of pass receiving yards too. Waived by the Colts and Chargers. Sometime you do not realize what you have at RB, unless you use it! :D

Didi traded in 3 way NY/Det

Hard to tell whether this is a good deal for the Diamondbacks. The key is Domingo Leyba. Sources say he did fairly well before the AZ Fall League, but then purportedly only batted .171 with the Glendale Desert Dogs.

Detroit has a very good football team...

This could be a low scoring game. Suh is going to be disruptive up the middle. So, Stanton will have to pass quickly. But, I have have confidence that our D will be more disruptive. I say Cards by 3 or 4 points.

    Veteran's Day

Same appreciation for all Vets from myself (a Vet). Today and on Memorial Day, as well a many other days, I often remember the too many service members who did not return. May they rest in peace and never be forgotten.

    Game 4 (DEN 41 AZ 20) Thoughts

BigRedRage said: "Washington played well tonight, if we don't get Palmer or Stanton back we are in big trouble." You could be right. My thoughts are that the unknown factor of "high altitude" added significantly to the Cards collapse in the 4th quarter. They were obviously gassed...

Not to get cocky, but the Broncos are beatable.

If we play tough D, we have an good chance to win in Denver. But, we're going to have to substitute a lot throughout the game to stay fresh enough in the 2nd half. Otherwise, the high altitude could factor in.

OT-Time To Ditch Thursday Night Football

I like Thursday night football. And, I'm optimistic there will be some better pairings down the line. Besides, with all the junk on TV, how could a football fan not like the football channel on Thursday.:)
