Tailback wants a starting gig ( Henry )

If we brought him in, would it be worth it to trade Marcel Shipp or would Henry and Shipp compliment each other? I am completely ignorant to Henry's running style so I don't know.

    Riding the Bullet

This novella was absolutely awesome. It packed a pretty huge emotional punch. I'm looking forward to this . . . even if it's one the USA network (could be worse, could have been a Sci-Fi Original :p )

    Worst Movies of 2004

For more mainstream picks than Scott Foy's, Film Threat's picks are located HERE. For what it's worth, I liked Resident Evil: Apocalypse as a fan of the video games, since it was basically a live action version of several cut scenes from the games.

    Worst Movies of 2004

did you actually see this? I have seen lines of dialogue from that movie and I thought they were joking but it turns out they were actual lines.

    Worst Movies of 2004

I had Van Helsing and Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid as my two worst movies of 2004 but they didn't even make the list for Scott Foy, Ain't It Cool News' resident reviewer of craptastic films. It's amazing the kind of movies that some people think to make. I thought these were all...

    Charles Woodson

He would cost too much and he has been injury-prone the past few seasons, right? I'd look elsewhere.

    Comeback Player of the Year

Brees was down enough that the Chargers used their 1st pick in the draft to find a replacement for him. He went from being their quarterback of the future to nobody. Then he comes out and leads the Chargers to a division title, keeping his replacement on the bench the entire season and...

    The official Blade trilogy thread

I've been a Ryan Reynolds fan since his Two Guys, A Girl, and A Pizza Place days. I had hoped that this movie would spring him to more roles but I think his part was horribly written. Most of his one-liners seemed terribly forced and although he has a natural charisma and whatnot his character...

    The Tripods Trilogy

I was stuck in Los Angeles from July - December on a job w/o internet connection. I missed all of the ASFN fun and what looked to be some pretty great home games. I'm back at an internet-friendly job, though. Thanks for the welcome!

    The Tripods Trilogy

Yay! I absolutely loved these books as a high-schooler. I haven't read them in about nine years (wow - getting old) but I remember thinking that they'd make great movies.

    The Notebook

!!!!SPOILERS!!!! I liked it quite a bit. I have you beat on the tears-shed chart, though. This hit kind of close to home cause my grandfather had to watch his wife waste away to Alzheimers and she didn't recognize him by the end of it. Very heartfelt, great performances, and you're...

    Official Spiderman 2 review thread

I loved it! I liked Spiderman 1 but i thought Spiderman 2 was kick ass! This is definitely my new favorite movie utilizing CGI combat sequences. Doc Ock was a great villain. Alfred Molina is a very underrated actor and I'm glad he got to show off his chops. What I liked most about...

    Newest Zia Records now open

Yay! I hit the Zia in Tempe everytime I'm in the area but Wherehouse CDs are too pricey for me and their used selections suck.

    Attention Sevendust Fans!!

I agree. They are IMO the best hard rock band around. One of the best live bands around, too.

    Dodgeball

Obviously someone who has never seen the classic film Night of the Demons 2. :O I thought Dodgeball was all right. It had enough moments to make it worthwhile but it just never gelled for me. My faves were the German team who carried a picture of David Hassellhoff, only to be jeered by...

movie A Day #182: National Lampoons Vacation

Too many classic scenes to recall. My faves were Clark and Rusty's first beer together and the wrong turn into East St. Louis.

    Gaining respect

Boiler Up! What year did you graduate? I actually went the same years as Brees ('97 - '01). I still think he'll be a solid NFL QB on a different team. I don't think anyone could have been a good QB on that team last year.
