^Highly doubt a team that has been this jekle and hyde is all of a sudden just going to start dominating sorry they could easily be down 3-1 if not for some home cookin'. PJ is not playing and isn't going to change much he has to rely on Kobe and the home cookin calls to help them win this series, hopefully Denver has none of that and takes them down like the inconsistant bunch of whiners they are!

Why are you always so mad?

He's a font of misplaced rage. Name your cliché; Mother held him too much or not enough, last picked at kickball, late night sneaky uncle, whatever. Now he's so angry moments of levity actually cause him pain; gives him headaches. Happiness, for that gentleman, hurts.

I am not mad just tired of watching Kobe and the Lakers bitch and moan and get calls other teams rarely get. You can't breath when Kobe goes by you or he goes to the line its borderline ridiculous. BIM your personal attack was uncalled for but of course I doubt there will be anything done about jerks like you attacking people. I simply made a very valid point...what makes anyone think all of a sudden the Lakers are going to dominate anyone? They haven't done it yet. They are what they are...Kobe whos fantastic and clutch, and then a bunch of bi polar decent players that can show up or not!

Sorry if you took it as an attack. It's in italics because it is a movie quote... :D

Uh, how about their last series with the Rockets? Isn't a 40 point win considered domination?

They've established they can lose by 12 one night and win by 40 the next...then lose by 15 and win by 19...

No them beating the Rockets down a few players at home is not considered domination, how many games did that series go again? Dominating would be handling the Rockets in 5 at the most which should have happened considering how beat up and missing star players the Rockets were. I didn't recognize the movie quote my appologies. But point is still valid the Lakers have not dominated as many predicted they would. They struggle against teams they should have beaten rather easily, Denver however matches up with them well and has a good shot to beat them in the series which would be great for all Laker haters! Funny how the 2 supposed dominate teams are not looking so dominate. Cavs are DONE and if the Lakeshow don't win tonight I feel they will be done as well.

Vujacic nails the three.
Tie game at the end of the first half.

Goodness, the refs in the NBA are awful these days. So inconsistent in all the series this year.

I think the players are too big and the game is just too fast for them.

And the ESPN announcers can suck it - they are such Lakers homers it's not even funny.

Nuggets are the superior team in this series when they keep their cool.

Whether they can do that enough to get to the finals is in some doubt...here's to hoping.

I think officiating tonight has been fine. They are pretty much letting them play- Nuggets as well as the Lakers.

Yes, but if you let the game degenerate into a thugfest over the last several minutes, making it nearly impossible for anyone to score, then you might as well just call it after 42 minutes and make it official.

The Nuggets got jobbed down the stretch because they were getting to the paint consistently and the referees wouldn't call anything. They wouldn't call anything for the Lakers, either, but the Lakers were mainly turning the ball over or settling for crap, so it didn't cost them as much.

Gotta give credit where credit is due, Kobe played excellent today. Took what the defense gave him, didn't force anything, and got his teammates involved early and often. I'm usually a kobe hater but gotta give him a big thumbs up for his performance today.

You might be right about Denver getting the short end of the stick at the end, but I still think officiating was fine. As long as officiating is consistent, I don't have a problem with it. It's conference finals- let them play.

Nuggets lost because they folded like the Suns at the end of the third quarter and first part of the fourth. Lakers just wanted this game more, especially Odom. Kleiza and the Birdman were the only Nuggets who played like they wanted to win. Anthony and Billups have got to step up and play like superstars. Last 12 minutes they looked like Nash and Marion against the Spurs. :bang:

Yes Kobe is good when he doesn't play like Kobe.

Better officiated game than the last one, by far. They let them play on both ends, and it wasn't a question of what was or wasn't a foul...no touch foul bumps 20 feet from the basket three times in a row, etc.

The Lakers got the benefit on a few of the calls (gasol and nene should have been a no call), but overall it was consistent (bad and good).

Let's see if Javie gets the assignment for Game 6...if he doesn't, guaranteed for Game 7. I'd like to have him for a road game...he doesn't get all jacked up by the crowd like some refs do. He's a douche, but he's a fairly fair douche. He'll T up Kobe though in a heartbeat if he doesn't watch himself.
