http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4543253&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlinesSan Francisco fans will have to wait a little longer to see Michael Crabtree on the field as the wide receiver will not be activated for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons and is expected to make his NFL debut after the 49ers bye week on Oct. 25 at Houston, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Ugh, I don't like the "will play" part.....

Roman is the back up.I dont like that either. Thats three concussions in one year. Roman is his back up right? He shouldve addressed the safety issue in the offseason
All I got to say is Crank that Crabtree!http://blog.pressdemocrat.com/49ers/2009/10/crabtree-likely-to-start-sundays-game.html
http://blogs.mercurynews.com/49ers/...ers-wr-crabtree-reminds-him-of-andre-johnson/“He reminds me a lot of our guy,” Kubiak said. “Reminds me a lot of Andre.”
He means Andre Johnson, the All-Pro wideout who led the NFL last season with 115 catches, 1,575 yards and eight touchdowns.
Johnson, who is 6-3, 225, is coming off an eight-catch, 135-yard game against the Bengals.
The 49ers ought to love the comparison. On a conference call with Bay Area reporters this morning, Kubiak put Johnson and Crabtree in the same sentence.
“(Because of) his size, power and run after the catch,” Kubiak said. “They are two great young players.”
Blah, blah, blah. Comparing Crabtree to Andre Johnson before Crabtree ever steps on the field during an NFL game is a joke.

Coach Mike Singletary said Crabtree has received a fair share of ribbing since reporting to the team. His new teammates demanded Crabtree sing “Happy Birthday” to Singletary last week.
And how is Crabtree's singing?
“Awful,” Singletary said.
“But not one time did he complain. Not one time did he show any body language of ‘I'm above this.' He's been a team guy since he's been here,” Singletary said.
Don't think that Andre Johnson had a broken foot that prevented him from running the 40?
