Apparently NO is going to renounce the rights to Kaman, Bellinnini, and Landry in order to make room for anderson.

Landry would be a nice piece at PF for the Suns maybe

Ayon is making about 1.5mil per for the next 3 years. I like him too, similar style player as Varejao or Noah but has a lot of work to do to reach that level.

He would look good backing up the PF/C position for the Suns. He could even start at PF. Oh well.

I've always liked Carl Landry. He is a real dirt worker.

I'd like Landry is we could rid ourselves of Frye. Otherwise I dont see much purpose. Frye, Landry, Morris and Sleazley would be a real logjam for PF minutes.

IMO, Beasley is a SF. I'd like to start Morris at PF position and hopefully bring Landry off the bench as the backup PF. Now, what to do with Frye? Maybe make Frye the backup center and do a sign and trade with Lopez. Alas, there is no perfect answer.

I'm hearing now that Andrew Bynum is talking about wanting to leave LA.

Without an extension with Lakers, Andrew Bynum has a short list of teams he will consider in 2013 free agency, league sources tell Y!
Dallas and Cleveland are among teams with cap space that would interest Bynum in 2013 as a free agent, sources tell Y!

Hmmm....howabout

Gortat/Frye/their '2013 1st rounder back
for
Big Baby Andrew Bynum

That way they can achieve the maximum Kobe/Nashball experience and we'll have a rebounder who can score inside when he's not missing gm's with Eric Gordon.

BTW the numbers work ;)

Bynum is one of the few guys in this league i absolutely cannot stand. He doesnt try sometimes, no poise, complains, and is a dirty player. I honestly would not trade Gortat by himselfmfor Bynum.

I think if it wasnt for the bright lights of LA and Kobe with his foot on his throat, Bynum would be the biggest headache for a team. Especially for a small market team where he would be thee guy

The sad part is that if he could grow up an mature, he'd be unstoppable on any team. Also his injuries make you wonder about him as he finally had a full season of play this year in recent years.

Bynum is scum. A player that would be really hard to root for in a Suns uniform.

I agree and feel the same about Howard. But I cheered for the Kidd teams despite never liking him either. If they both do make it to free agency it will be the first time I can recall the top 2 centers being free agents at the same time.

I want both, and i think the Suns can get both.
I DON'T want another team built around a PG.

You and I are on the same page! I love Dragic, but I want a good scoring shooting guard, and a rebounding PF with some low-post skills, and I'll be a happy fan once again. :)

The Nets continue to move toward an acquisition of Dwight Howard.

The current iteration of the deal could cover 14 players and at least three, possibly four teams. The fourth team would take MarShon Brooks in order to acquire an additional pick to send to the Magic.

Orlando would receive a re-signed Brook Lopez, along with at least three first round picks.

A third team, possibly the Cavaliers, would acquire a re-sign Kris Humphries. Marc J. Spears reports that a possible complication is Kris Humphries seeking a four-year deal with Cleveland and wouldn't sign a one-year contract.

Jason Richardson would likely be included as well, going to the Nets.

Would you give up the Lakers 2013 pick and the 2 2nd round picks for Brooks?

Are you talking about Marshon Brooks? If so this seems like a reasonable price if the Suns are giving up lesser second round picks although I would prefer to give up only one. The Suns are unlikely to get anyone better with the Lakers 2013 pick.

I might. I am not sure Orlando would be interested in that pick though. This is exactly the type of trade the Suns could get in on and really get some assets. The Nets really want Howard.

If the Suns miss out on Gordon, they could do worse than to bring Jason Richardson back (~$6M/yr over the next three). Sure, he's in the back half of his career, but I doubt anyone sees Mayo or Brown as a long-term solution either, and Richardson's contract is pretty good for what he brings to the table. If the Suns can gain another pick, even in the second round, as a reward for being facilitators, so much the better.

Jason Richardson has lost a lot of his game, especially his explosiveness on drive.

even his last year with us, he wasn't as explosive as before. he missed a lot of dunks lol

i'd rather not have him back, in this order i'd take:

gordon
mayo
brown
bayless

I think this is what Elindholm is talking about. Filling an area of need and getting a pick for it. This is just an example of what the Suns can do if the Suns do not get Gordon.

Right, I think everyone needs to keep in mind that pretty much any player that the Suns add at this point, with the possible exception of Gordon, is just short-term filler until they can accumulate more real talent.
