That's a shame. I would have liked Stiemsma here on the Suns.

Especially if he's cheaper than Lopez.
Yea your right.I was just thinking the Wolves interest in Lopez may not be that keen with their interest in signing Stiemsma.
Yea your right.
But Boston now may be interested in Lopez though.
Maybe draft picks or Fab Melo?So what does Boston have that we want as it would probably have to be a sign and trade?
Maybe draft picks or Fab Melo?
Or maybe we can send Lopez to Chicago (they just lost Asik and need backup C) for pick?

They aren't going to give us Fab Melo for Lopez...
We might be able to get a 2nd round pick for Lopez... at best. The more likely scenario is that we just let him walk if the Suns dont like his contract.
Robin Lopez has a $4,007,137 qualifying offer from the Suns as I understand it.
The Suns should just send him to Camp Pendleton and feed him shrapnel and motor oil the rest of the summer. Maybe then he'll come back ready to play in the painted area.IMO we should just let him go. We don't need Robin Lopez.
Is anybody here gonna miss him dancing around and hitting the rebounds like a volleyball or the ball going right through his hands out of bounds or into the opponents hands? Or him despite being 7ft tall playing like a 6'3 guy?
I remember when he first got drafted, everybody was full of excuses for him. "Oh he's still coming back from injury, oh he just had back surgery, oh he wore his wrong underwear, oh he forgot to brush his afro before the game" etc.
Bottom line is that Robin Lopez is a bum and doesn't belong in this league. But if some team that is so desperate for a scrub who is 7ft tall, then they can have him.
Yup, but the Suns don't seem to realize that.IMO we should just let him go. We don't need Robin Lopez.

And confiscate the comic books from his foot locker, so he'll start thinking as an adult.mojorizen7 said:The Suns should just send him to Camp Pendleton and feed him shrapnel and motor oil the rest of the summer. Maybe then he'll come back ready to play in the painted area.
First of all, welcome to ASFN. Secondly to answer your question...Jodie Meeks, Michael Redd, Terrence Williams etc.available sg options, anyone? Thanks.
My first post here, so I'll keep it short for now, big Goran fan btw...

You do know that we resigned Shannon Brown right?
If he is has shortcomings on the court that he has not been able to overcome, what does it matter what he is paid? He's been tying up a spot in the best basketball league in the world.Lopez needs to go unless hes cheap

There's not much better than the trio I gave youWell first of all thank you, second of course know about Brown, but haven't seen him play much admit that. And lastly, out of that trio, I'd sign Redd. Have to check the free agents list myself though...

Dudley is more of a SF than a SG.Meeks & Williams are interesting options, I guess signing one of them depends on what PHX believes it needs more of. Williams gives a more all around game but lacks an outside shot, whereas Meeks is a scorer in every sense of the word but not as well rounded in other aspects of his game as Williams is. With Brown & Dudley manning the SG spot does PHX feels it needs to add another 2-guard? Also, looking at the 2013 NBA Draft there isn't a true impact SG available unless someone emerges during the season, so PHX may have to rely on FA to find one next year.

And I would say Shabazz Mohammad is a "true impact SG"
Meant to say prospect at the end of that.Mohammad has not played one minute of College or NBA basketball how can you call him a "true impact SG" ?
