Hearing on the game about the lingering effects from the concussion, and he probably had one early in the season that they were hiding, plus the one that knocked him out of the opener for the eagles, I'm getting the feeling he's a concussion prone QB (one so early rang a bell, this one should be an alarm clock), and that he won't be our starter for long. I don't want him to fail or anything, just concussions are one of those things, that either happen or don't. If they happen, they tend to repeat unless it was just a vicious one time hit. I can't say either of his were vicious one time hits, even if the back of the head is fluke-y, it didn't appear so bad that he'd still be feeling it and not able to string sentences together weeks later.
At this rate he'll have another by week 3 or 4 of 2012. Still probably needs to get another one in the first few games next year to put the concussion risk label on him, but it may behoove the cardinals to get out of the contract....probably after next year if this continues.
No way Kolb starts the final game. Which is good, because if Kolb is a concussion risk, we really need Skelton to get more time THIS year.
