not all players make good complimentary players even if very talented

I agree completely, but Beasley is not the kind of guy who can carry a team. If he cannot find a way to be a complimentary player then he is pretty useless to any team that has competitive aspirations.

Too much is made if pf and sf. There is a big difference between the f an c positions, but two complementary players at the forward positions is fine, whether either is a classic pf or sf doesnt matter. Both Scola and Morris have the range to keep oppositions honest.

I suppose the only real issue is who can defend opposing wings. Beasley doesn't defend either position, so I cant see how that matters.
