guess who is playing well for the Bucks - Michael Beasley. Not a big role though tonight he was big against the Spurs, hitting 11 of 18 shots. The bigger surprise is a 24 year old rookie SG, Malcolm Brogdon, who is shooting well on three's as well as two's and handing out assists at the same rate as Giannis - fewer TOs, too.
Giannis and Jabari are the team leaders, of course, but they are getting contributions from almost everyone. Miles isn't doing much but Teletovic is playing about like he did for us though fewer minutes. Monroe has settled down. Henson, Snell, Jason Terry and Delladova are playing well in limited roles.

Bucks are my dark horse in East.

That was a great win by the Bucks vs. the Spurs. Giannis was basically out, Parker was in foul trouble in the 2nd half, but Beasley was unstoppable and with the heavy contribution of Brogdon and Monroe they just have beaten the Spurs who also played well.

Beasley has always had the talent but has never had it upstairs to be a great player. He's capable of a great game every now and then but any team looking to him to be more than a bench contributor who occasionally gets hot will most likely regret the decision, like Phoenix did.

Beas rarely had a good quarter for us, and never a good game. I don't think he ended up with the very worst ranking in the league that year but he held that distinction for much of the season. Don't you remember, Phrazbit kept us up to date, day by day...

He's had good games off and on throughout his career but he didn't have many with us, that's for sure. I haven't followed him at all but I was under the impression he's been a slightly improved player and teammate since his last overseas stint.

Just hit the game winner vs NY. Sixers now 4-1 with him starting.

Good memory, GH. I almost took exception when DWKB posted that but I couldn't find any data that backed me up. I didn't think TJ was outstanding but he seemed decent to me...

He's averaging close to 10/8 per game as a starter. McConnell is a true leader and about as mentally tough as anyone in basketball. Kid just gets it.

That's great that he's playing well recently. Joel Embiid is the true leader of PHI. When I made that post the only thing he was doing well was giving the ball to Embiid (meanwhile Stauskas was actually scoring the ball).

I doubt Suns fans, outside of the UofA alumni, would want him starting for their team.

If it was between him and Knight, I would pick TJ, I went to ASU. Without looking at percentages I don't think he's a "lights out" shooter but he is a good all around player who plays within his game, doesn't try to overdo it. He's not a fast twitch athlete but he's very crafty.

You went to ASU and you root for UofA basketball?
