McGee is having an impact inside to start the 2nd half for the Warriors.

Lebron with 4 PFs in the 3rd quarter. I doubt if they let him foul out.

Cavaliers players other than Lebron are not putting out maximum effort near the end of 3rd quarter. Perhaps they feel it slipping away.

Lebron is the only guy who could bring them back, since he's not out there they're not playing that hard. Can't blame them that much but still, it's the NBA Finals. You need to be playing all out.

Lebron can only carry the load so far. I think he leaves Cleveland in the off season.

I saw Vegas had released odds on where he goes. I know the odds were most likely he'd go to Philly rather than stay in Cleveland. These are different than what I saw the other day but they still say it's more likely he leaves than stays.

Here's another source, they list a few different books but still, Cleveland is not the favorite for any.

The last 2 games are scary in that the Warriors won on the road game 3 when LeBron had a triple double, and Klay and Steph both shot horribly. And they win on the road, huge, in game 4, with Klay being scoreless at the half. Not that the big 3 have to all play well together but to win back to back games on the road, easily, while not firing on all cylinders is pretty impressive.

I think people forget how good a defensive team this is

You finally feeling comfortable that Cleveland isn't coming back from being down 0-3?

Got 2 minutes.

I've been watching teh game and the Anthony Bourdain special on CNN thus no posting until now.

I was pretty sure the game was over in the 2nd quarter. The Warriors made a run, Cleveland closed it, and then the Warriors pulled away again. Kind of figured that was going to do it.

It's hard to see Lebron staying in Cleveland no matter what the odds.

I hope the Warriors break up after next season. This offseason would be great but I doubt it happens. Klay's contract is up after next season. Iggy, Livingston, and Green will be entering their final contract year then. Who knows what sort of deal Durant resigns for this offseason though. If he opts in, then it's up next offseason with Klay.

Everyone will be a bit older also. There's a lot of talk of the wear and tear on Lebron but the Warriors have all gone to the finals 4 years in a row also. That has to wear them down. That's part of why I think the Spurs never were able to repeat. In this day and age, teams are too fast and getting that extra month off when eliminated earlier in the playoffs helps give them more time to recoup. Klay and Draymond Green are 28 right now, Curry is 30, Durant will be 30 when next season starts. They could stay together for another 3, maybe 4 years, but I can't see their owner being content paying all of their cap on 4 players. Those 4 players will send them into the luxury tax and they'll be paying repeater tax.

Those 4 will cost them just over $100 million next season if Durant decides to opt-in to the final year of his deal. If he opts out and resigns for the max then they're looking at around $110 million for all 4 of their stars. Green and Klay are making just under $20 million, so when they need resigned that will test their owners checkbook.

I would imagine that's why he left the court so quickly after the game ended.

Could well be. Lebron was clearly frustrated when the Warriors broke the game open in the 3rd quarter.

Whether he stays or leaves, I doubt this game played a role in his decision. I think he would have liked to have avoided a sweep regardless. He was swept in his very first finals appearance and if he stays in Cleveland, this could be his last finals for a little while. I can't see them being better than Boston and Philly next year without retooling significantly. They don't have the chips to trade to retool though. They could probably bring in an All-Star who fits with him better but that would probably cost them Kevin Love. I don't think Love fits well with Lebron anyways but he is the best teammate that he has.

FWIW Stephen A Smith is doubling down that he thinks Durant will leave. I don't know one way or the other but I've been saying for 2 years I fully expect the Warriors to have Allonzo Trier on the roster next year because he is Durant's "adopted little brother" and they will want to do anything they can to keep Durant happy.

That said, if CP3 doesn't get hurt the Warriors likely aren't even here so I don't get the idea that they're invincible for several more years if they don't break up.

Yeah my guess is he doesn't want the home fans final impression of him in Cleveland as a Cav to be standing around watching the Warriors celebrate.

There are things about LeBron I don't like but he's a phenomenal player and a class guy. Whether he stays or goes somewhere else I won't be at all surprised to see him back in the finals next year.

He could easily have gotten finals MVP while being swept, he's that good

I don't think Love has much value. He has a huge contract next season and a player option the following season which he likely exercises.

I was never quite clear why the Cavaliers did not trade Lebron this past season from a team standpoint and from Lebron's standpoint. It's a credit to him the Cavaliers made it this far. Both sides would have benefited from such a move.

I think it's really hard to trade the hometown hero.
