Fixed.

Looks like we won't be seeing a reluctant Jack anymore. That bomb detonating was a turning point. Does anyone else get the impression that Palmer's character is due to collapse under pressure unlike his big bro? He just doesn't seem to have teh guts for this, you know?

I hate to say this due to the fact that I love 24 (I have the first 5 seasons on DVD!)

But, is the show kind of falling into the pit of creativity that claimed Tom Clancy?

Arab terrorists exploding nukes on US soil AGAIN?

My thinking is that story arc is nearing its end and the majority of the season will focus on
Jack exposing the Illuminati
.

These spoilers are making my head asplode.

I think what you mentioned, which happened in the fourth hour, will be wrapped up soon and the show will transition. Who knows...;)

BTW, if I happen to miss an episode, when do they show the replays?

I have never watched during the season. I always buy the DVDs when they come out and my wife and I go on like a 6 night 24 binge....

Agent Curtis was the only character I liked on the whole show. :(

How is that possible? He never even did anything except take orders and show up places with his unit :)

If you don't like Jack Bauer, why do you even watch the show? :)

Found this on a 24 blog;

Season 5 4-hour premiere, shoot President Palmer in the throat on Martin Luther King Day

Season 6 4-hour premiere, shoot Curtis Manning in the throat on Martin Luther King Day.

How did Martin Luther King, Jr. die, you ask? With a shot to the throat.

Loved the eps, finally got to see them a week late--this seems to be another great season.

Curtis was NEVER an interesting character on the show. Sure, he was cool when he was kicking ass, but there was really no redeeming qualities to his character--he was the member of the away team in the red shirt. Am I bummed they killed him off? Sure, a little, but he was getting awfully annoying just sitting there whining all the time.

Fox has scheduled another two-hour event for Monday, February 12th. This, of course, is conveniently placed smack-dab in the middle of sweeps. The event will cover the hours between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and co-stars
Chad Lowe and Powers Boothe.
