Chriss did an excellent job closing the baseline and forcing Embid to go up off of his left foot right into Len.

Oh definitely. He did a few bone-headed things tonight, but that's to be expected from a second-year player. Overall, he played very well.

This is the hope IMO.

He should have value to a playoff team.

Perfect tank loss, play competitive against a talented team, and see promisd from our young players.

He was flying above everyone, blocking Simmons twice, trying to get every board.

Great to see against other great young players. If I had just seen this past week, I might feel about him the same way I did a 20 year old rookie amare.

But we need to see it for a longer period of stretch because of how bad he was to start the season.

If you'd watched the game, you could have properly appreciated Bender's one three-point basket in 21 minutes of playing time.

It seems like Chriss and Bender alternate turns being lost causes and exciting prospects. Chriss will look promising and Bender will struggle or vice versa. Unfortunately, there have been some periods where they both look bad and the stretches where they both look good are few and far between.
