Aldridge seemed to think the Suns are still in the running for TMac, but the Magic still want Amare.

Nothing really new, but it's nice to hear there are supposedly still trying to make a deal.

Do the Magic honestly see the Suns budging and giving up Amare? I could see them pressing for JJ, because that is possible. But there is no way in hell they trade Amare!

Looks like the Magic are trading #1 for Terry, #6 and #17.....

Throw in Magic contracts to make it work under the cap etc.

if the Magic think for even a half second that we would eve CONSIDER trading Amare for McGrady, they are out of their freaking skulls.

First of all, that has to be BS.

Second of all, if it isn't, you're telling me the Suns couldn't have put together a better deal than that involving the #7?

Would the Suns want #1 to take a PF sized player , pay him like 4M$ immediately?

Atlanta would probably take on some bad contracts like Howard or even Hill...

I can't think of anyone I would trade for Amare at this point.

Much less trading big for small.

Okafor measured a solid 6' 10" in shoes. I'd guess that's as tall as half of the NBA players in the league who are listed at 6' 11".

He has the height to play center and can develop the strength. Whether he can be effective is another story, but if he fails, it won't be for lack of size.

Duncan - he's the only one and even then I'd be a little hesitant.

The only one I can think of is Lebron James, sorry but I would pull the trigger on that one in a second, and I would think very hard about Yao... but thats it......

For Amare I would ask Orlando for McGrady, Gooden & 1st Pick. That would be a fair deal for us.

That was my thought too. Duncan would be the only player I would consider.

If you have someone with the size and talent of Amare you don't trade him for a wing player. As a rule of thumb you only trade size for size.

No way

At this point Amare's proven a lot more than Okafor or Howard.

In 10 years Amare will stand out well above TMac, Okafor and Howard.

Given that, Okafor seems much more stable than Amare. The whole psycho mom thing worries me A LOT. I just have a relly bad feeling that she will screw over Amare and the Suns somehow.

Watching Duncan play is like watching paint dry.

As much as I want the Suns to win it all i still have to watch the games.
