I had dinner last night with my FO friend and I asked if he knew anything about DW. He didn't have any specifics but I wouldn't expect him back anytime soon. He was talking about how tough it is for a guy to come back once he's that far into the NFL testing system.
They can, and do, test the player very often and very random. The lifestyles these guys have had the past 10, or so, years is very hard for them to break. He was telling me about a WR they had, not Justin Blackmon, that was as good a kid as you could ask for but could not stay off the weed. They sent him to rehab more than once but he was just addicted. And, when they constantly test you, it's hard not to slip up.
The key is to stay out of the program because you basically get tested once or twice a year and you pretty much know when it's coming. He said 33(I think that was the number) guys tested positive at the combine this year.
