whats interesting: most projections have him long gone by 23

yet the Cards feel like using 1 of 30 visits on him -- either they think he hangs around or are exploring moving up

he would be a different guy than usual -- more power than athleticism. seems like more a natural 4-3 DE rather than a 3-4 OLB

So, he's a lock for Keim if there at 23?

Hang on--he had 4.5 sacks? How many games did he play? If he played even close to the full season, then hells to the no!
Im agree with u but there also other cases
Chandler jones
Danielle Hunter
The same edge drafted by Baltimore last season
College sacks production mediocre but they have been drafted higher for the potential and likely they didn't get much benefit fir the scheme they played for

Yeah, but that's not even mediocre, IMO.

Im skeptical about giving Vance Joseph high draft picks, he can't get much from them earlier
I would draft just offensive players in rhe first three rounds

There are about 30 players long gone by 23. Someone has to fall.

Got a feeling it's going to be a weird draft this year. There are very few certainties in any of the position groups. Going to be a lot of "choose your flavor" picks and I think outside the top 10 mocks are going to be way off.

He had a tonne of pressure. He had an 18.1% pressure rate which is nuts. Chase Young was 17.7% his final year.

If you watch some of his film QB's were getting the ball out hella quick when they played Purdue.

Pressures, win rates, we're trying to out-think ourselves with stats. If the dude couldn't get to the QB and bring him down against vastly inferior talent in college football, why do we think it's going to change in the NFL? Those win rates are going to drop against superior NFL linemen, and the pressure rate will go down, more than likely. So then a guy who doesn't get pressure or produce sacks from the edge is what?

Zion Johnson is the best prospect for us with very low bust potential
Same for Olave
Then treylon Burks
I hope we get one of them

The B1G is "vastly inferior talent"?

I mean, I acknowledge that they often don't live up to expectations, but it's not like he played DII ball.

Yes, the B1G is indeed vastly inferior talent when compared to the NFL. He'll be going against the best of the best in the world on Sundays, not some schmoe who will be selling insurance in 3 months.

Guess nobody should be drafted from the Big 10 then. All those Ohio state WR's going top 20 were up against insurance salesman.

Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio, Notre Dame all churn our quality NFL linemen and he played them all last season.
