The problem
No, because a win is a win. Margin of victory is not computed into RPI. And VCU isn't a bad team by the way.No ofcourse I don't think they would be dropped.... Because it was a hiccup and outside of that one game they have been awesome... now if Kentucky had that one point win, and also lost to teams like San Diego and Virginia Commonwealth.. then it becomes a pattern that I would assume the committee would look at... you don't agree?.
We'll see, they play next week. And FYI - Northern Colorado has already beaten two MWC teams.and there is a HUUUGE difference between TCU and the University Northern Colorado a D-2 school until just last year, and is currently in the a middle of the pack team in the Big Sky Conference....
Unfortunately the selection committee doesn't see it that way, so you're preaching to nobody here. Human polls take what you're saying into consideration but RPI isn't the BCS, it's purely statistical.Same goes with ASU.. If they had beaten San Fransico by a point and needed a last second shot to do it, I (as an ASU alum/fan) would even hold it against them as more of a negitive than a positive.. A win is a win over legit D1 schools like TCU though...
