Here is a link to an article about the injury to Lonzo Ball.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball has a torn meniscus in his left knee, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Ball was diagnosed with the injury at the end of the season and has gone through recovery options to treat the minor injury and find the best route for his long-term future, league sources said. Ball is expected to be ready for the start of the season, league sources said

We'll just have to stay patient. Kemba will be a free agent soon. A lot of the 2nd tier teams like Portland, Toronto, and Washington are going to have to make decisions about their roster as they start paying the luxury tax. There will be more stars on the market soon.
Yeah, I'm beginning to think that the Suns' best move in FA, looks to be waiting 1 more year, when they can really land someone special, like a Walker, or?.....

Only concern is with Booker ext. will they have any more spending $$ next offseason, even with Dudley, Chandler coming off the books?

Even with Booker getting a max extension this offseason we would certainly be able to free up enough for a max player in free agency next year.

I am honestly not sure. I didn't think Okobo was on the national team. I think he played for the Under-20 team. What I am hearing about Okobo is not very encouraging, but these are the same people who assured me Dragic was not an NBA player when he was drafted, so who knows. To the best of my knowledge, Igor has never coached against him.

Thanks for anwering, Sir. I recall seeing Okobo playing in a game and the only ones from Europe were the ones posted of Doncic playing for the national team, which Igor coached. That said I have remembered things that never happened before.

Ha. I go both ways. I remember things that didn't happen but what is worse for me is completely forgetting things that did (recent things). A few months ago I suggested we try a fish place we had thought about eating at for quite some time. My wife informed me we ate there 2 weeks prior, I told her she was nuts (gently, of course). Three nights later, I gained almost full recall of that eating experience. Ouch.

Forgetting stuff is commonplace and restaurants are normal. I eat out regularly with my daughter, who not only remembers where we've eaten but remembers what I ordered and whether I liked it or not, Better than an eating guide!

Interesting experience with another couple, back when I was married. The other man and I both recalled a scene which our wives insisted was not in the movie. I saw the movie later and they were right. Movie was My Dinner with Andre - and the scene was described but not shown like they said.

Really surprised this thread made it to 15 pages.

The lesson to be learned here is that unless it’s Woj, Shams, or Stein, these “rumors” are just click baits and Twitter users seeking attention/followers.

That kind of thing is pretty common though. I think back to watching the Dodgers play in the 60's or the Suns in the Connie Hawkins era and I have vivid images of those games. But I watched almost every one of them on radio. In my mind though I simply can't separate which games I actually saw on TV from the many that I listened to on 620.

As for my restaurant story, it wasn't just that I completely forgot something that happened only two weeks earlier. It's that I soon gained full recall of the experience just days after denying it happened. I don't know if that's all that common?

I've never experienced that kind of recall, without something triggering it - like going back to the place it happened.

Rondo on a one year deal. Bringing in inexperienced distributors doesn't really help our core talent grow in 2018. Even if Rondo wears out his welcome he'll be a stop gap with some skills.
Yeah. I am thinking this. Give him $15 million for a year. Then we don’t have to dump players or sign marginal ones.

I am a big fan of this assuming we can't make a trade for a proven guy. Kemba is one of my favorite options, but if we have to look at free agency than I think someone along the lines of Rondo on a one year deal could be good.

The one issue I have with Rondo is that he is known to bump heads with coaches and that could be an issue with us having a rookie coach. To be fair I don't know if this has been an issue recently for Rondo.

Rondo is a guy that literally mocked this franchise and it’s history last season. **** him.

I would rather bring Michael Beasley and Shannon Brown back than sign that clown.

He also tends to play lazy at times and he's not a good mix with younger players. Pass. However, if it's that or give someone like Fred VV 60 mil over 4, then yeah, Rondo.

I don't see anyone available that's worth starter money. If we overpay for 1 year, fine, but otherwise I'd rather we wait for the right player.

I saw it pointed out elsewhere, but he likely only pin pointed us because we are one of the most prestigious franchises to not have a title.

As to the message he was sending, he was absolutely correct. Team's shouldn't celebrate getting to the finals or the conference finals. I apparently don't take it as personally as you do.

Why not? Franchises like Boston and LA can big-time us about championships but I see nothing wrong with hanging conference banners until we have a reason not to. But then I've never agreed with the thinking that anything other than winning it all is losing.

Even if you agree with his message, he didn’t have to slant a team to make his point. And more specifically, he didn’t have to do it using the Suns.

Let me rephrase. Players shouldn't celebrate those things. I get the organization raising banners and the fans being happy about making it, but the players who made it that far only to come away with a loss shouldn't be celebrating it.

I agree that he didn't need to, but I don't think he was meaning to take a shot at our franchise. I think we were just a team that stuck out as an example.

At the time, certainly, but after the fact I see no reason they couldn't celebrate and take pride in what they did accomplish. And if they don't ever want to, that's fine also.

Huh I hadn’t heard that we actively shopped Chriss during the draft and got no takers. That’s disheartening. And I’m sure it does nothing for his sunny disposition on the court.

Yes I was surprised to hear this as well, an Igor's offense you have to be able to shoot, I guess Chris's will be utilized more as a back up Center now
