I hope the defensive players feel bad. They are just as culpable. I hope the Cards hire an experienced coordinator this time.

Well Yeah, there is that:(.....if Davis is the only sacrifical lamb and Grimm and Graves are kept around, nothing will change. With a top GM, OC, DC, Whiz could be a good HC/Manager of the team. Unfortunatly Davis is not enough. We need an overhaul. But at least it is a start.

So we know for a fact that the Cards sales team listens to Big Red Rage.

Most impressive!

Let's give him a list to pass along.

Baby steps.

After reading the cryptic comments from Somers and Urban the last couple days about not banking on a change, I was VERY worried they were going to try and spin BS to us fans about how important it was to keep Davis. That would have angered me (and yes made me questions Wiz's ego and stubborness) because the numbers don't lie.

After thinking about it some more, I am not entirely convinced we need a new OC, especially with Grimm staying and him being paid 1 million a year. Our offense was amazing the previous two years before 2010. What was the difference? Not the guy calling the plays, but the guy pulling the trigger. If Wiz thinks this year was an anamoly and they do everything they can to bring in more reliable QB play, I would tend to see his logic. After all if you watch the game tape, its literally shameful how many guys we have running free all over the field play after play after play.

As for the GM.....Thats not Wiz's call. But I entirely agree that Graves should be sent packing too. But apparently he does a good job ironing Billy Boys bow ties, because dude is like teflon. Nothing sticks.

If I were to rank the coordinators that needed to go, Davis would have been first by a long shot followed by Grimm. This termination alone will have a significant positive impact on the team as a whole, depending on who replaces him.

Graves is not a coordinator, but always needs to be fired

The defensive players are probably toasting knowing Davis won't be putting them in the position to fail anymore.

It'll be awhile till we see a replacement I bet. All the good DC candidates are still in the playoffs.

Good news! Should have happened after the Saints playoff game last year, but better late than 2 more years down the road.

The Stealers already said no to us last time & I don't think they will change their minds.

Kevin Greene baby!!!

Steelers told us No in 2007, but in 2009 Steelers did not tell us no. We got permission but it was bad timing two years ago since Butler had major hip surgery and he couldn't travel for a few months. Dolphins got permission to talk to him just last year and did talk to him last year but Butler decline the position for one reason or another.
