Kolb comes out, the happy feet are back by the 3rd snap, a couple turnovers, game over quick. A classic 'down 21 points with 6 minutes left in the 1st quarter' game. The 3rd touchdown coming on a DRC pick 6.

If Skelton plays:

Cards play a conservative offense, limit their mistakes but... Vick pulls a "Vince Young in 09" against us to end the game while AJ Jefferson and Marshall get eaten alive.

Keys to the game for the Cardinals:

Make Vick pass the ball.
Take care of the ball.
Design some plays to get Fitz the ball and make some big plays.
Run the ball.

Almost all our games come down to the key plays we don't make, we have to figure out how to make them and keep the other team from doing the same, it's a simple formula and the Cardinals absolutely could do it.

They don't very often but if we focus on what we can do and stop trying to focus on what we want to do we have a chance.

Because this team is incapable of taking advantage of other team's weaknesses. This falls on the coach. There is no excuse for coming out unprepared week after week. Also, we won't touch Vick because our rushers seem to actively seek out an offensive player to run into. Watch our pass rush and especially our blitzes. It looks like we rush in and run into the first player we see. Now look at the other team's pass rush on us like in the first safety last week. 1 player blew out Brown and Colledge en route to sacking Skelton.

That's a good point. A situation I've seen numerous times and specifically last week with Rashad Johnson, was Johnson lowering his shoulder into a blocking fullback as if he was the blocker. I guess the idea is to take the fullback out of the play in order to let your fellow defenders get through, but how many times have you seen defenders against us simultaneously take on blockers make tackles, block lanes or tip passes?
