Cardinals @ Saints game thread

We need to draft Defense, defense, defense all day long. Corners and linebackers.

We've come to the end of the road for this season fellas but while I'm sad I'm not heartbroken. Urban's fumble was the sign that the "bad Cardinals" had showed up today. We can't compete in a game of this magnitude w/o DRC, Rolle, Warner & Hayes. We could live w/o Bolden but not the other 4. It was a terrific season and last weeks game was a dream come true, for us on a national stage. We've most likely seen the last of Kurt and I'm fearful of what that means for the future but that's a worry for another day. Never in my life did I think I'd get to go to a World Series (2005) and a SB with my son and now I've gotten to do both. My hat's off to the Big Red for an exciting year. Whiz has them on the right path. We'll be back.

He's a twig 82, and that's becasue you have to be a twig to run fast enough to cover most WR's in the NFL.

He's great for what we need him for, he shouldn't be called on to tackle a whole lot anyhow.

I don't care what position you play (aside from PK and Punter). You step foot on a football field, your job is to bring it. Period. And there are plenty of times in a game when a CB needs to make a tackle.

fair weather fans, stop the bashing and actual add a valuable post. Sick of seing coverage mismatches. MA on Colston, Dansby on Colston, MCFadden on Colston......Seriously if this was the game plan going in, they stood no chance.

The hit on Warner, might of been legal but it was cheap. Used to respect the Aints, no more. Hope we knock Brees out of the playoffs!

Saw that... It was actually a missed tackle however... Another attempt at getting a "highlight reel" moment. I've seen him shy away from a tackle far too many times. Sick talent and zero heart means squat to me.

One of the few mistakes I've seen Whis make in that area.

I actually forgot about mentioning that the hit on Warner should have fired up the rest of the team. Legal/clean hit or not, when a team does that to your QB you're supposed to respond. The Cardinals just rolled over. Again.

Very dissapointed with them so far. I fully expect the Saints to win a game where the defense is down 3 or more starters but giving up is inexcusable.

Rackers can't even keep it in bounds now. His mind is toast. Even if the Cardinals got it close, no way Rackers makes a field goal.

He doesn't tackle but he's the ONLY db we have who can cover anybody.

They were trying to do the short popup that we recovered a couple of times this year. It was worth a shot but you have to kick it towards the sideline there's too many people in the middle.

Defense held now we need Kurt to get hot

Yes but when the entire defense including studs like Dockett, Dansby and Wilson are playing crappy you have to point the finger at the defensive coordinator.

We need more athleticism on the defense. Dansby is our only LB who can cover and outside of DRC every corner is either too small or too slow.
