Kolb still looks like a young inexperienced QB...I've got to say--again--he reminds me a lot of Jake Plummer.

Kolb looks like someone adjusting on the fly to a new scheme and new players. He needs to make better decisions and set his feet more, but hes improving.

Plummer would have boot legged and ran for 20 yards already. I don't see the similarity except for he is mobile

There's 100s of running backs who can gain big yardage running in a straight line when there's a huge hole and nothing when there isn't.

Quality NFL RBs gain big yardage when there's a huge hole and something when there isn't.

I've never seen a guy who just falls down everytime he tries to change direction like Wells.

He is an upright runner with a monstrous stiff arm. IF he stays healthy, his game will develop and he will be a very solid runningback. It takes time.

i still dont think he's made a big impact more than a few plays a game, but he's young & learning

That's a pretty big impact. Especially compared to last year. The other thing you have to like so far? ZERO TURNOVERS.

Beanie doesn't need anymore time.. That's bunk. Either he's gonna be good or he isn't. RB is the one position where you either got it or you don't.

Unfortunately that is not a recipe for success for running backs in today's NFL. This isn't the 90's. I am not saying he is done, but Wells will need to change his game to stay in the league as a starter.

Sorry bud, but after your 2012 comment, you don't have much objectivity on this subject

Don't be a hater. You see 10 plays and overexagerate on the one where he could have done better. Hes exceeded my expectations.

Also more accurate than people will admit. Ryan Williams was gonna be good, now, who knows.

Very encouraging game for the future of the Defense. Some good looking young players on that roster.

What does the D have to do with Kolb? Subject changer. :)

Dude SD is largely considered one of the best o's in all of football. We held them on several occasions and scored a D TD.. What more you want? I'm happy.

Sometimes it takes time to learn how to block. The kid is so damn young and has never had to do it.

He better pick it up quick now. I agree that excuses are drying up

Those must be pretty low expectations. I have no problem with wanting to give Wells every chance to succeed, but to say that he has performed well so far in his career is absurd. He was in the process of getting beat out of the starting spot by Ryan Williams a couple weeks ago. Like it or not, this is his last shot with AZ due to his underwhelming performance.

Where did I say he's performed well over his career?

Please show me

Not true. Whiz wouldn't have let Hightower go if there was no faith in Beanie. And the Williams talk was premature
