Not true. Whiz wouldn't have let Hightower go if there was no faith in Beanie. And the Williams talk was premature

You could argue that Whiz's faith was in Williams. Not Beanie. We'll never know but def. Possible.

Thank you

anyone who remotely felt Williams was gonna supplant Wells after one quarter of preseason ball either is biased or knows very little about professional football

Trading Hightower was trying to get value for a back that you was going to be the odd man out either way. Were weren't going to carry Wells, Williams, Hightower and LSH.

For our sake, I hope that is not the case. Sadly, this season will be played out largely on #26's shoulders.

Sorry bud, but after your 2012 comment, you don't have much objectivity on this subject

Don't be a hater. You see 10 plays and overexagerate on the one where he could have done better. Hes exceeded my expectations.

Stay out of this. You have no idea what is going on.

i still dont think he's made a big impact more than a few plays a game, but he's young & learning
I agree.. none of the OLBs are reliable at this point.. I just don't get how Porter keeps his spot.. he's old and ineffective..

It's certainly possible by end of pre season. Especially the way EVERYONE including fellow players raved about the kid.

What does the D have to do with Kolb? Subject changer. :)

Dude SD is largely considered one of the best o's in all of football. We held them on several occasions and scored a D TD.. What more you want? I'm happy.

wasnt talking bout Kolb, I was happy the day we got him. I'm happy but w/guarded optmism. This team can play, but IMO still has defensive concerns

Didn't Whiz name Beanie the starter before TH was traded? Whiz isn't a coach who is gonna start the season with a rookie RB.

If that isn't saying that he has performed well for a 1st round pick, I don't know what is. Maybe not your intention, but it reads that way to me.

Does that say career? Nope. Nitpicking.

Meant game. Sorry if that was too difficult to interpret for you.

I know quite a bit about football and watching Williams showed me superior change of direction, burst, better hands out of the backfield, and better vision. Running backs aren't really difficult to evaluate once you compare them side by side.

I agree. And I wasn't happy at all with the Ryan Williams draft pick.

Pretty impressive performance tonight all in all. No need to rip anyone except for Levi Brown
