In hindsight, I'd say the game was over early.
1. LA was getting ready to score and we punch the ball out and it bounces our way for a touchback.
2. They get an INT, and fumble and again we recover.
3. The refs for a change make a crucial call in our favor.

If we don't win with those plays we're in trouble.

No QB matches his running ability.. so why is it so rare to see it?

Because we got an OC who, on critical, critical short yardage plays call tush pushes with our second string QB while one of the most violent runners in NFL history and the best running QB in the NFL both cool their heels on the sidelines.

But if DP called the 2nd down screen play to Conner that he broke for 33, I'll give our OC some credit back. JC had to break one tackle and then had nothing but green grass in front of him.

It’s a problem. Kyler (in season 2) and Hop were dialed in literally their first game together.
That was a different QB… and Harrison is different WR. These guys currently out there look nothing like what either they were when they garnered a bunch of hype.

But Harrison is the much bigger disappointment so far. No dog. Terrible drops. Outside of literally ONE FIVE MINUTE stretch where he had 100 yards and 2 TDs, he’s been all hype so far.

Nearly identical passing numbers to Mahommes yesterday but also a stellar rushing TD and a passing TD, Patrick had no TDs and 2 picks sometimes it’s just about winning. We won stop focusing on a few negatives and look for the positive in a growing team geesh….

Murray did just enough. A veteran performance against a great defense.

You’re right average QBs rip 40+ yards TDs on a daily basis thank you for clearing that up….. hahahahaah
This is such a terrible argument.

That was ONE GREAT run and lifted his overall game from bad to average.

Or do you think a 14/26 for 145 yards, 1 TD/1 INT is a good passing game? Because in most people’s books, that’s a terrible game from a QB.

I mean thats a major distortion. Kyler was staring down receievers all game and a fair amout of the 145 passing yards was james connor making something out of nothing, and thats giving him a pass for the tipped INT, or the bogus unnecessary roughness call
"James Conner making something out of nothing"

do we even understand the entire point to "Putting talent around him"?

very mediocre game from the pocket.
But those couple runs lifted it to a good overall game....as much as it made me cringe, I actually admired him a little for lowering his head and getting a couple more yards on that one run....we are kinda in a make or break portion of the season and he seems to know we have to string together some wins.
But Marvin man...jumping in the air to try and body catch with his crotch?? WTAF?..... what happened to using fingers to catch the ball?

the one good thing from Marv tonight was the play where he had a TD if Kyler didn't have to tuck and run and then completed a short pass to McBride. It was nice to see him just completely win a 1 on 1 matchup, too bad Kyler didn't have time to get it to him

He did also have the okay where he found the soft spot in the zone and sat down for a 1st down on a rocket pass from Murray.
