How about running any plays for Ertz, Green, Hollywood instead of Dortch? How about creativity? Wasn’t KK brought in as a offensive mastermind yet we see the same crap ass simple playcalling we’ve seen for years? Did yo use the creative plays KC uses to get guys open or catch you off gaurd, miss direction etc. Did you also notice we did none of that until late, you know kinda when the offense started moving and scored twice late? Did we running any screens anything to slow the pass rush? KK called this game like a preseason game early and it was so dumb we got drilled it is what it is! Murray wasn’t great but zero TOs and used his legs can’t do everything himself…

You just had to look on the other side. Mahomes sees the field, moves around, hits the open man (yeah, it was against the Cardinals defense, but still) and doesn't panic at the first hint of pressure. Kyler should be WAY better at all of that in his 4th year IMO. Appreciate your loyalty and you have some good points on some of the playcalling and stuff but Kyler was putrid until stat padding time today.

Offensive line was missing one starter and had another exit early in the game. Kyler's line was healthier.

KCs Wrs are the equivalent of ours outside of Kelce. Mahomes found a way to get the ball to Juju and Kelce, Kyler was unable to find his best friend who he supposedly has great chemistry with.

James Conner was the best RB on the field today.

Andy Reid IS better than Kliff.

Kyler was playing against an equally flawed defense starting a rookie that I am not sure Kyler even targeted.

So, one QB was able to throw for 5 TDs and over 350 yards. The other was under 200 yards and 1 TD heading into the 4th Q with the game out of hand.

One QB stepped up and the other folded. And it wasn't the QB who gets paid the most per year average.

You can argue we have the best CB of both teams and we easily have the best Ss. Frank Clark and Markus Golden are about the same guy.

EDIT: They did add Carlos Dunlap but he is on his 3rd team in 3 years so...but he is better than what we have behind Golden.

Murphy was better than Snead in comp% allowed and QB rating allowed last year. Wasn't a big difference but he was better. I will give you Bolton as the best ILB on the field but Gay is about as good as Collins and Simmons.

I admit the Chiefs are better but being better than terrible is not good. The Chiefs gave up more ppg last year and then got rid of players and brought in rookies and backups to fill it in. Maybe you are right and we will see, but I feel confident the Chiefs defense is one of the bottom third units in the NFL.

IDK, today was way worse than I’d thought it would be. I knew our defense would need to play at a high level, but KC offense was in mid season form and unstoppable for the most part. Cards offense was a below average at best. KK said afterwards this looked like pre season game #1, no crap Kliff. Maybe preseason or better practice detail is more important than bubble wrapping everyone. Week two will tell a lot, if we are still overmatched say goodnight Gracie

This is what being owned looks like. Totally depressing but completely predictable.

I think we had to pay Kyler but to extend Kliff and Keim may be the most ludicrous ownership decision of my lifetime. And I’ve seen some ish since the mid 80s my friends.

Keim should have been fired 4 years ago. Not extended after such a horrible draft record.

Kliff should have been fired 2 years ago. Now….. we are stuck with this crap for at least 3 years.

Simmons depresses me. But our inability to find any serviceable lineman in 3 year span is inexcusable.

Now we get the Raiders in their supercharged home opener. A team also desperate to not go 0-2. Chandler is going to be on fire and Crosby may kill our o line all game long. Also, they have a CB that just eliminated Mike Williams the whole game.

In short…… I expect to get rolled. Waller to kill Simmons. Kyler to run for his damn life. And Keim to lose 40k at the Bellagio right before the prostitution sting that may be our only hope to save this franchise.

You can go back and forth on which QB has a better this or worse that but reality at the end of the day is that Kyler simply does not pass the eye test for a 4th year franchise QB that is being paid top 3 money. This brings back that old conversation ..... Keim. Nick Bolton was a second-rounder in 2021, whereas Keim spent a first-round on a lesser player at the exact same position.
