Wouldn't losing Pat Tillman to the military give us a break from the curse? I'm all about that voodoo-skinwalker stuff, but if signing a POW gives us a break, Tillman should have provided something...and we resigned Gedny after colon cancer!

yeah, but first we cut him - more curse-worthy moves. and tillman's just joining the military doesn't come close to signing someone involved in the death march. if you don't want to contribute, don't. don't try to figure out ways out of it.

The Maroons were disqualified from championship consideration by league president Joe Carr for playing an unauthorized exhibition game against a non-NFL team in Philadelphia.

The Chicago Cardinals were awarded the title, even though they lost to the Maroons in a game that was billed as the championship. Pennsylvania officials have stated their case on behalf of the Maroons.

As I said in the begining of the thread, I think we should find out how much the trophy and engraving and shipping will be, and divide that up amungst the interested. We can funnel everything through a PayPal account or some such service. That way we'll carry more equal weight--I'll bet we have enough to where it'll be less then $10 each.

okay, i let this fall off the radar. apologies.

i'm gonna seriously look into this in the offseason and then i'll recontact all the potential contributors.

first i gotta let the cards rip the remaining pieces of my heart out. y'know, i was thinkin' of waiting 'til after the draft. figured if they didn't get manning (with either their pick or trading for him) they didn't deserve our help, but, on second thought, i may have to do this prior to the draft just for the opp to nab manning...
