"He thought the defense did well in a couple of key stands, especially after turnovers. Obviously the pass rush was a problem. He said he liked the push provided up front by Dan Williams and Calais Campbell. It was hard not to notice he did not mention Darnell Dockett, who did not seem to show up much Sunday. Pass-rush-wise, Arians said too many players forgot about the proper technique like going with power moves instead of speed they might not have had. “Don’t all of a sudden go rogue” and forget your strengths, Arians said."

sure sounds like pointed comment about Dockett.Maybe it was said to light a fire under DD`s underperforming overpaid self.

I am pretty sure you make the age and skill reference yourself a few weeks ago. I would not take it apon myself to take a pot shot are your age unless you did first. ;) As for the size of your truck, that is fair game.

Didn't realize I did, but it's cool. Truce

I dont get caught up in anything. DD has been a good player for us for ten years. Just like adub.

And I didnt see anything out of bell than adub couldnt do btw.

I still will give DD the time to prove it before I start hating on the guy.

DD was the least of our problems yesterday.

But either way, hate on him all you will. Im not clamoring for him and I dont think he had a good game but I do think he is a good player and will make some good plays this year.

Imo Nine-O hasn't done much of anything on the field for the Cards since the SB.

I find all the doom and gloom funny, I was actually happy with thew progress and looking forward to next week! Plenty of bad things happened but lots of good too. We almost won the damn game!

LT and pass rush sucked but maybe they will improve. At least we can score points and move the ball now vs taking a nap until the D comes back on the field.

Hard to believe its come to this just one year after we beat Seattle on opening day and the guys were packing their bags to go to Foxboro and hand Tom Brady and the Patriots their first home opening loss in 145,000 years. Things sure went WAY south on us in a hurry.

We Almost Won. :bang: :(

"We almost won the damn game". We're a sad bunch. :(

And toward the end of the year we lost by like 40 points.

This is progress.

Whatever - I enjoyed the game and didnt see it as a must win for us. I dont even really expect playoffs this year, I expect competitive football and excitement un sundays. We are a draft or two away from contention IMO.

How do you know? Beat Seattle in week one and beat New England on the road the next week. 9th win in the last 11 games We thought that was real progress. And 11 weeks and 8 losses later they lose 58-0 to Seattle.

But I guess you are right. As Arizona Cardinal fans there isn't much else we can do except say "hey we almost won" and hope the game is entertaining until the final whistle.

Can't wait for Sunday when we can yell at the Lions fans "Your Team is worse than ours!!!" :p

The offense looked light years ahead of our 3 clouds of dust and a punt offense from last year. I am excited for our potential!

What offense are you talking about? We'd have been ecstatic with 3 clouds of dust and a punt. It was minus one and a cloud of dust and one air ball and one dropped pass. But, they won. This year's team didn't. And the only things that count are wins. Right?

Strange but true. The Cards ran the ball 32 times for 102 yards vs New England and only attempted 27 passes and won. The next week vs Philly they ran the ball 34 times and only attempted 24 passes and won again.

Then the next week against Miami they threw the ball 1,976 times and ran it 15 and......won again.

they won 5 of 11, we have played one game.

The defense won last year and got lucky to do that. I feel our offense will win more than 5 games this year.

I like it, you dont. cool. I think ive made my points. You cant drag me into the gutter!!!

I think next season has to redo his contract or he will be cut, still cant believe rhodes. Hasn t find a team yet and his performance were great for cardinals instead of dockett that was invisible last year

I understand you are injecting the Kool Aid but come on "we almost won" is just too battered fan syndrome for me.

Dahl is a lot better than you are giving him credit for, but dock needs to step it up.

He is so good he has technically been on 4 teams since coming into the league and never made a single PB or as far as I know even sniffed an alternate position. Is he adequate? Probably... But he is specifically the kind of guy Dockett should be taking to the woodshed.

Wow, good for DD..

He's gonna make around a million per notable play.

Too much con and not enough production. That's been my concern since he got here, but he proved me wrong during a couple of seasons. But of late, he seems to be settling into a comfort zone and simply not bringing it anymore. Thing of it is - we don't have very many other worthwhile options on our roster.

I cant believe people think we actually think this way.. The Cards defense let this happen to send a message to the FO that they wanted Whiz out.. I just scratch this game from my memory because it wasn't a real game.. It came right after Whiz wanted to let the Jets score.. So they let Seattle score all day..

Come on Shane don't pick on a captain & leader on this team ;)

Bigredrage, bankybruce & fish aren't gonna like us picking on DD, cause he leads by example. Lol

Don't include Fish in this one. Fish has been on the other side of this argument for a good while now.

#azcardinals DE Darnell Dockett: "No disrespect to the Rams but we’re going to play against much better guys up front, offenses."

Roland Bardon ‏@PFF_RolandB 9 Sep
@kentsomers We had Dockett graded as the worst 3-4 DE in the league this weekend. #PFF #AZCardinals

This about sums up the whole all bark and no bite argument. At least for this week.
