Anyone who refers to Dockett as a force in the Lions game needs laughed at. That's why I asked for a link. So I can be amused by our HC making such statements.

Anyone who refers to Dockett as a force in the Lions game needs laughed at. That's why I asked for a link. So I can be amused by our HC making such statements.

From what I saw, Dockett was double-teamed almost every time we didn't blitz. To me, that means the other team still thinks he is a threat.


But, like I said, before he HAS SLOWED DOWN. He used to be able to beat double teams at times. He hasn't done that last year, or this as far as I've seen.

The original poster hates Dockett.. As do most people it seems because of his antics (words).. Yet everyone loves D Wash.. Who has been suspended for weed, and maybe an upcoming for domestic violence..

I guess it isn't true than actions are bigger than words.. I mean cmon.. We are talking about a 3 time pro bowler compared to a one time pro bowler that cant stay on the field for personal issues.. A man, when others wouldn't, took the Cardinals on his back and made it cool to be a Cards fan..

I'll tell ya what I'll re watch the entire game starting tonight and focus just on Dockett like you do apparently and ill count the double teams and number of disruptive plays. I'll even time stamp it so you guys can find it when they happen. Ill log with blitz and without.

Also if and when DD is DT'd he with his mouth running in the off season, salary and reputation he should e expected to beat even double teams a few times a game.

It's nice that stuff you listed 3 4 an 5 years ago but this is a what have you done for me lately league. There's a reason urban mentioned the possible slight to DD following the rams game.

Not to beat a dead hose but when I say running off at the mouth I'm referring to Dockett and his off season talk about how excited he is in the new scheme and how he can finally be himself again and really wreak havoc etc.... Dockett in his prime was a good DT for us, and great at times, but I've always thought he was a little overrated by pretty much everyone, board and the media included.

Let's see, you guys didn't like Horton or Adrian Wilson, or O'Brien Schofield, or Sam Acho or Dan Williams or Darnell Dockett or Clark Haggans or Paris Lenon ..... but the Cards defense was better 2011-2012 than at any similar stretch since 1975-'76. It's the first time since then that the D has ranked out of the 20's in both points allowed and yards allowed in back to back seasons.

You don't make the pro bowl 3 times playing in Arizona if you aren't getting any work done. Pittsburgh, Dallas, Green Bay maybe. But not Arizona.

Since I can't sleep today I've been watching the replay. Am I seeing things or are we running the 2-4-5 again? With only two down linemen CC and DD can be double teamed all day long. Odd though that the Lions attacked it with quick short passes instead of running the ball.

One more thing from the coaches film. We sure have some good young players on defense. Too bad I'm probably too old to see them kick rear 3-4 years from now.
