IF AND WHEN HEALTHY...
New England bound...book it.
Wow, I thought they'd at least see if he can still play. I guess he had no remorse for his actions.
Now the question becomes, who will give him a chance? Raiders? Seahawks? 49ers? Patriots? Bengals? Browns? Jets? Cowboys?
Disagree. The Cardinals of old never took risks on players with character issues. This regime takes calculated risks. The Cards of old would've never taken Badger.
As for D-Wash, if the reports are true about him not being flexible with his contract, shame on him. He isn't in a place of power to negotiate and needed to prove himself again to the team.

Hilarious. He didnt want the minimum. I wonder if someone else will pay more than the minimum for a guy who missed 3 years from the leaguexc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

They cut his ass, because he still can't spell the name of the guy who paid him!
Well said Mitch!!
What a breath of fresh air Michael & Keim have brought to this team. Winning requires tough decisions & IMO this an easy decision for these 2!!! The fire burns deep inside those 2 gentleman to win the Super Bowl title for this team. Btw Keim promised me in Miami over a few beers last year I would see it in my lifetime & I believe him.
Let's see how this "breath of fresh air" plays out in the years to come.
I look to the Patriots as the prime example. Sometimes winning teams take risks on personnel moves and questionable characters. They have constantly taken chances on "washed up" or questionable players and make it work (i.e. Randy Moss, Welker, Blount, etc...). If they plan on cutting bait with a player, they trade them and at least gets some value (i.e. Chandler Jones, Jaime Collins, etc...). They don't just wait til the last minute and dump the player for nothing.
Hopefully DWash really is washed up and they know more about the situation than any of us. But I'll believe it when I see it.
A real old fashion concept but I would think he would want to pay the Cardinals back for the bonus money he accepted in terms of taking less money to play for them now.
D-Wash not wanting to play for the minimum is proof that he has no remorse for what he did to the Cardinals.
It's kind of like getting a call three years later from a woman you wined and dined at all kinds of fancy restaurants during which she gave you all kinds of promises and then she dumped you...but now three years later she wants to try again as long as you take her right back to the Four Seasons.
Good riddance.
someone is going to do it IMO. It wont be a blockbuster but it will be more than the minimum. What idiotic team will pay him more then vet minimum? Seriously? If his agent told him he thinks he can do better, that agent is also an idiot. DWash is taking a big chance. He could have gone with a one year deal to prove to the NFL he is back. Oh well....

I would've kept him through camp to see if he can play. That wouldn't have hurt a thing. If he could play, he helps. If he couldn't, you still cut him and get cap space.
I guess there's always the chance he was a complete ass in the meeting too.
