Absolutely horrible play by Lamb. It was the freaking hobbled pitcher running and he plays it like it's some speedster and muffs it. He did that same move last game too.

When you're hot, you're hot. He was winless this season until these last two starts.

And the D-backs, when you'r not, you're not.

It seems that when a team is being no-hitted after the 3rd inning, as the D-backs have experienced lately, you should try to manufacture hits.

Sometimes a guy just gets dialed in... Don Larsen was 30-40 career and had gotten ROCKED in his previous two WS starts when he threw a perfect game in game 5 of the World Series.

Pitchers are fickle little creatures lol.
