The first 2 teams to talk to Kobe will be the Clippers and Knicks according to them....

Nash will first talk with Dallas then Denver...

Spurs will talk to Ginobili.

Clippers say they will match all offers to Q-Rich (thats a bit confusing if they really want Kobe).

Dampier could go to Indiana in a sign and trade for Harrington and fillers.

Take it for what it is worth. Likely just speculation since teams aren't even allowed to talk to FAs before.

The Knicks get mentioned on every deal, even though everyone knows how absurd it is.

I saw this one in the Denver paper. Somehow the Miller/Nash backcourt doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but it would take the Nuggets out of the chase for Brent Barry.

Spurs will talk to Ginobili.

He's still signed to them until Thursday. I can't see why they waited.

They have 14 days until Kobe turns them down and then another 14 days before they have have to decide that Q is going to be paid too much and so they can let him leave. :D

Seriously, I don't think they really believe they will get Kobe. But getting rid of salaries on the PROMISE of going for Kobe saves them money.

I would expect GS to try to get Foster in the deal as well as Harrington.
